Had a lovely time here. Location was good for us as it was a little outside Kandy and lovely and peaceful. Really enjoyed the managers food and company! Private rooms were great value for money and so clean, hot water etc. Cheers Jude!

The biggest treasure we have found in Sri Lanka. Jude is an amazing host, cook and tour guide. His place was clean, comfortable and it honestly wxceeded our expectations. If we could, we would rate our stay a 12 out of 10. When in Kandy, this is the place to book!

I am astounded by the fact that this property has a high rating! The host ‘Jude’ is rude, arrogant, misogynistic, and VERY VERY drunk. Can’t use the kitchen without permission, can’t use the fridge. Aggressive signs abound. Myself and two female friends booked for two nights, left after one night to never, ever, return. I had a private room, the two female friends were in a mixed dorm. The Bliss is a lovely property in an idyllic location. Jude, an amazing chef, was a great host who organised everything I needed and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Kandy!

This is easily the best value for money accommodation I’ve found in Asia for the price. Beautiful garden with very nicely furnished house. The location is a bit out of kandy city but for me that was great as kandy can be crowded whereas Bliss is very peaceful at night, it’s a perfect opportunity to relax and recharge. The host Jude is very professional and accommodating, also a great chef! Hostel also offers very cheap day tours of Kandy!

We stayed one night with my friend at The Bliss hostel ! It was so lovely to stay at Jude’s place, he is such an incredible and helpful person ! He also cooked us a delicious meal and we shared a really good moment ! His property is stunning, surrounded by beautiful vegetation. Thank you again Harry Potter 🤪🥰

Manager was great. I like him. However, it’s not in the tourist area so people that I knew in other hostels were far away. It makes up for it with being a beautiful house and garden and I think it will only get better. Furthermore, the host is a great cook. It really is a great environment, it’s almost magical. Jude is very respectful, kind and a great host. Not pushy for suggesting activities and the stay is in a lovely place outside of town. Brilliant value and place is clean. Good food and a bus can bring you into Kandy.

Jude was very friendly and tryed to give us the best hospitality possible! To Kandy center you have to take a 20min busride. The place is very quiet and calm. The bathroom had some mold but the rest was fine! For the price worth it!

Property was stunning! Jude was very helpful in organising a tour around Kandy for me. This hostel is very small so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to meet people! Other things to note: there are no lockers for your valuables and the owner sleeps in the same room as you. If you are a solo female traveler you might not be comfortable with this.

Das hostel verfügt über einen privaten tuktuk Fahrer, der einem die staftbperfektStadt perfekt nahe bringt! Ich würde immer wieder kommen!
