Chandana and friends make you feel very welcome. They're fair and give great advice. It might be a bit away from the centre, but it is clean and accommodates your needs.

The owner is so great and he'll take you out if he has the time... most sri Lankans are friendly, don't be frightened if a few interactions seem out of the blue. Especially with this guy, he really ensures his customers are happy! I just had 1 night here, and had great fun. It's close to all the cultural hotspots and few cute dogs to play with. The owner also really keeps the property clean. Con- I would've preferred a door instead of a curtain for the dorm

I enjoyed my stay here despite being the only guest there, at the time. the dorm was nice and beds had curtains. the owner was very helpful and kind. the hostel is a bit far from the city but I rented a scooter easily to get around. I also extended my stay. there was no AC, but I slept well thanks to the fans.

I stayed here for 4 nights as a solo female traveller and I really loved this hostel. Especially the views are gorgeous, and the hosts are super friendly. It is a more ‘simple’ hostel, and it was more quiet (not extremely social). But for me it was perfect because it was nice and chill and I felt safe :). The only downside was that it can be noisy at night due to dogs and traffic. So bring earplugs!

Perfect hostel

I cant recommend this place enough yes it’s a little out of town but it’s only a short walk or cheap taxi ride away plus there are plenty of places close by to eat and drink this is made well worth it for the views and sunrise from the balcony. Chandana made us so welcome it was more like crashing at a friends house than a hostel

Clean hostel and the guy at reception is helpful. Hostel is a bit out of town in the hills with good views but a cheap tuk tuk ride away.

Located in the hills of Kandy, lovely view from the balcony. Unfortunately, no one was actually staying there for the two nights I was there but still a very chilled area. Local bus outside the property takes you straight to the town for 90 rupees. Safe and clean in the room and shower/toilet facilities - would recommend for anyone passing through Kandy!

A really great stay! The hostel owner was super nice and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The roof terrace in particular was a dream with the view.
