The rooms look very different than the pictures. Our lock didnt work well, there was a lot of mold and rust in the bathroom. Wifi didnt work at all. We arranged for breakfast at 7.30 on the day we had a hike and had to be ready at 7.50, but there was nobody. When we found somebody he told us they still had to get the breakfast and it would be 15-20 minutes. We had dinner there one night and you could only drink lukewarm glasses of water. My boyfriend got instant noodles with leather like beef..
Great place for the price. Location very central. AC works well and hot water shower. More of a hotel than a hostel. Could have been a little bit cleaner but overall enjoyed the stay
De locatie was een stukje weg uit het toeristische centrum. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte waren geen toeristen maar locals. De kamer was niet heel schoon en er zaten vlekken in het bed.
Stopover in Kandy to meet up with friends starting their trip later than me. It's a good central location. Rooms were really nice for the price but it doesn't have a real communal hostel vibe more like a hotel. Spent one night and saw a bunch of attractions before leaving the next day.

Great location. 15 mins walk from train station (although it is up a hill) with fabulous views on rooftop. Must go to nearby Lighthouse Family Restairant. Delicious food especially the Indian curries
Staff were friendly and helpful, check in was very quick which was welcomed after a long hot journey backpacking. The room was basic but had everything we needed for a 1 night stopover reading to Ella. The hostel is a few minutes walk to the train station which is perfect for tourists getting the famous scenic train to Ella. Staff swapped our room when air con wasn't working which was much appreciated. only negative for us was that the room wasn't well soundproof from the stairwell. Thank you ...
Everything was perfect. It was so easy for me to take the train because the hotel was 5 minutes from the train station. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
Terrible place. They will lock you in at night, you will miss any early transport you have booked and if there is a fire you will die. AVOID.
