Diamond Shine

Its a nice hostel which felt more like a homestay. It is a bit far from the city center, but there is a bus that starts almost infront of the hostel. The hosts were super nice & you can actually order lunch/ dinner from them. They cook really good and its cheap aswell.

We very much enjoyed our stay in kandy at diamond shine hostel. The location is very quiet and there is a nice rooftop. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and the beds comfortable. The traditional dinner and breakfast we received were very delicious. The hosts are very friendly and we felt welcome right away. Much recommended and thank you again!

One of the best stays I’ve had! The room was bright, spacious, and well-ventilated, with plenty of room for personal belongings. The rooftop view over the city is amazing and all yours to enjoy. The family running the place is incredibly kind and helpful—they even mailed me my forgotten power bank the same day! What a nice stay, clean and very warm welcome from a very friendly family. A neat dorm with a separate bathroom with a nice view. The location is a bit out of the center but does not make the stay less nice. Thanks again for everything!

From the moment I arrived, I immediately felt welcome. The hospitable family received me warmly, and everything was spotless. The atmosphere is so homely that I haven't experienced this anywhere else. Truly a highlight of my trip through Sri Lanka! This family definitely deserves more guests. I had a fantastic time here!
