Anna's House Aonang

The rooms are absolutely disgusting, very small, cramped, and suffocating. There is no window. The walls are filthy, peeling, and dirty. It’s full of mosquitoes coming in through a small hole in the bathroom. Everything is covered in mold, and the pipes are rusty.

I stayed there for a week and I have nothing to complain about. The place was clean and they give you free water. It’s not very social and the beds don’t have curtains, but overall I had no issues with it. It’s not fancy, but it is a pretty good deal if you don’t wanna spend too much in accomodation in Ao Nang.

Sehr schönes Zimmer mit eigenen Bad. Es gab einen gemeinsamen Kühlschrank. Leider ging das Wasser am Abend nicht, was sehr nervig war, aber bis zum nächsten Morgen wurde sich darum gekümmert. Die Lage war ganz okay, aber zum Strand sind es gut 20 min zu Fuß.

Honestly so fine if you just want a night or two! I stayed here before my bus and it was great. Although, if you’re looking for a more social atmosphere or to come for the beach it’s not the best. No social atmosphere and quite a walk to the beach

Was the only private room available at a reasonable price last minute. The room was basic, it smelled a bit but after leaving the Aircon for a few hours it was ok. Towel had holes in it, but bed was hard but comfortable.The communal kitchen was pretty dirty, but there was hot water.

Vi algunos malos comentarios, pero creo que no encajan en la descripción de este hostel. Me agradó sorprendentemente. La ubicación era buena, a unos 20 minutos de la playa, estaba rodeada de puestos de comida durante la noche, la locomoción a otras playas y hacia krabi pasaba justo afuera. El AC funcionaba muy bien y la habitación tenia una linda terraza. Es un hostal acogedor, tiene una linda vibra y nos sentimos como en casa, incluso extendimos nuestra estadía y todo sin problemas. Las camas son demasiado incómodas, los demás huéspedes tocan tus cosas para moverlas y ojalá no te toque entre puros chicos porq el ruido y los olores terribles. Las escaleras son muy difíciles de acceder y más con equipaje. La ducha y el baño en muy mala limpieza. No lo recomiendo.

The door to the dorm wouldn't lock and the door downstairs was open at all times, so if you're a person that worries for their possessions then you definitely want to bring a lock with you for the locker! Otherwise no complaints at all. If you're a light sleeper like I am, I would recommend bringing earplugs and eye cover for sleeping as the road is quite noisy at night. Similarly the curtains are very light. Enjoyed my stay a lot!

For the relation quality-price is okay. Anna was lovely and very kind. The property is quite simples. And the first floor has some really complicated stairs, so if you have any injuries in terms of walking, not the best. Regardless, I felt safe there and comfortable.

The a/c in the room is perfectt. Everything went well, the price-quality it's great. The kitchen could be a little more clean, but you can use the fridge which is great.

Worst hostel I've ever been to. The hostel is not very social, some of the staff are very unfriendly, the beds are squeaky, the toilet/shower is not clean and there are rats. You can hear the rats almost all night long. The only good thing is that the beach is only 15 minutes walk away. I absolutely cannot recommend the hostel

As budget as it can get. It’s 20 min away from the beach and from good hostels, but you pay less than half of those good hostels, and you basically get what you pay for. They’ve small lockers outside for your belongings, which is cool. Shower and toilets are just a mess, no paper no hand soap (literally left mine). Heard people seeing rats in the outside shower too, but again it’s just a bed to sleep.

Rats ran around in the kitchen and on the roof, messy kitchen and not so fresh rooms. About twenty minutes walk to the beach. The area was nice but would not recommend the accommodation.

A nice hostel. Walkable distance to everything. Wasn’t very social during our stay, there is only one 6 bed dorm and a few private rooms in the whole hostel. No curtains on the bunk beds and the toilets are downstairs and around the corner. I’d say it’s worth spending a little more money for somewhere nicer and more social. The owner is lovely.

Very nice staff. Close to the north wall. 7/11 across the street. Scooter rental a few doors down. Prefect.

Super lief personeel. Het hostel zelf is heel schattig en leuk om te verblijven. Hele leuke mensen ontmoet. Super gastvrij. Ligt alleen iets verder van het strand etc. Maar lopen is nog steeds goed te doen.

No lock on door or keys to building, dorm could be accessible to anyone on street. Bed squeaked at every movement. One shower which was very unclean, and was a 7 man dorm rather than a 6 man. Ended up checking out early. Would not recommend. Aircon is very good
