J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr schöne Lage, ausgestattet mit drei Onsen und einer sehr großen und gut ausgestatteten Küche. Bequeme Matratzen zum Schlafen in Zimmern mit echten Tatami Matten. Bushaltestelle ist frei Minuten entfernt.

Wonderful place, very calm hostel. Great hosts and excellent facilities. Perfect stop after a long day hiking.

The hostel is really nice for a hostel, but the price is too high. The staff was great though. The hostel has dorm room stays, not separated by sex and limited showers/toilets. The heater did not work in the dining room. I stayed right down the street which was only $10 more and had my own huge room, bathroom/shower, yukata and access to a very nice onsen. Unfortunately, it's not listed online because they only take cash. So you're limited to what you can book online in Yunomine.

Lovely hostel, very welcoming and accommodating staff. They have a partnership (10% off I think?) with a great restaurant down the road too.

I loved this place. The mother and son who work there are so friendly. I said to them I was looking for bananas and since they didn’t have any in their store for purchase and there is no store in town the son offered me his banana. Also having 3 onsen in the property is amazing for after the 17miles from Chikatsuyu. Design and layout of the hostel is great too e.g. sinks outside of the restrooms

The staff was fantastic! Extremely kind and helpful. The location was great. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Lovely hostel - fantastic onsens and good calm vibe. Met some lovely people and not a party place which I appreciated after a long hike. Beautiful location too!

One of the best guesthouses/hostels I have ever been to, amazing hosts, traditional setting, free rice and porridge and free private onsen! And everything is so clean and tidy you get the impression they opened just yesterday. 11/10
