Great place and amazing staff! Shoutout to Gordon!

You can’t always control who’s going to be at a hostel. If you’re going to Cape Town this is a good location to start. Staff is friendly, nice privacy with curtains. We had a local staying there who asked for money from me, but I would not discourage anyone from going here. Green point is a nice location. Only thing to know about this hostel as well is theres a lot of people here that are training to work on Yachts from South Africa and there can be less other travelers.

The staff were amazing as well as the rooms and facilities. The only problem I saw had to do with the local high school kids who sang opera every morning. Not only they downgraded the vibe with their immaturity, but they were also a nuisance with their noise early in the morning and late at night. They were also very dirty and did not clean in the kitchen, so these led to a feast for cockroaches and other insects. I see the benefit of accepting such large groups, but they should follow the rules

Great place to stay, nice staff, great location

Stayed in the female dorm la loved the staff veryy kind and always in a good mood ! Made me feel super welcomed! The beda in the dorms were cute i’d appreciate the bed” curtains” to be changed as there was dust or dirt stains in it and the bathroom and walls should be checked or renovatet as i would have loved to say its been a perfect cute hostel! 🌸

Outstanding, really safe area, gorgeous staff, beautiful accommodation.

Positives of staying here are that the beds are comfortable, the property has a good level of security at the entrance, and is a good starting location for sight seeing. Negatives however include, I don’t think the property lives up to the quality of the photos or its ’boutique hostel’ claim. My group and I had a very pleasant experience staying with MOY in Cape Town. The rooms, bathrooms and facilities were clean, spacious, modern and convenient. Each bed had its own built-in locker for luggage storage that could be locked using our room keys. The common area is central to all the rooms and the kitchen is fitted with everything you need to cook and store food. In addition, MOY is situated within walking distance to the V&A Waterfront and a few restaurants on the street.

Bonne ambiance. Calme mais surtout convivial dans son ensemble. Les chambres restent toutefois correctes et confortables pour le prix. Je recommande.

Great location easy to walk to everywhere, Dorms were great and locker sizes were good. Only downside was the people weren’t that sociable but not the hostels fault !

Nice hostel for spending a couple nights

Comfortable stay that did what was needed. Dorm was very warm and top bunks relatively difficult to manoeuvre around. Location is great for perfect balance between city bowl and sea point.

Nice chilled stay here, staff were all very friendly! Rooms and bathroom was nice, only thing was there wasn’t a lot of space for luggage in the rooms, so it got a bit messy. Could do with a fan or something in the room to keep it a bit cooler, it was super hot!

Great location and a sweet staff. I love the privacy you get by the cartains around the beds. I wish only the staff were organizing a bit for people to get to know eachother. For instance,have a day were the staff are having a get together with a coffee or a drink outside. Or a lunch where those who like can get togeher to eat outside? Just a nice way for people to get to know eachother early on.

The location is good and the staff is nice. There were a lot of locals staying there at the time which was odd. Also there’s not much public space compared to some other hostels so it was hard to meet people (have to catch them on the way out)

It's on a safe street. In the morning, I could for a walk. It's very close to Waterfront.The staff were kind and helpful. It wasn't noisy and people had respect to each other. I'm a solo traveller and enjoyed the stay.

Good Clean beds, with privacy in dorm. Sturdy secure large locker drawers. Kitchen that is working with things to cook basics. Refrigerators. Back up load shedding lights. Close to V&A Waterfront Shopping area, and grocery store.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to City Center, Stadium, V&A Waterfront and right next to picturesque Bo-Kaap with it’s colourful houses and excellent gay cafes/bars. Very homely atmosphere, kitchen and close to supermarkets. I’ll give Moy my best recommendation ! Try it for yourself 👍👍👍 Henrik, Denmark
