Sweet Stay

adorei a energia e a limpeza. a ideia de um hostel mais "maduro" é otima para solo travalers que gostam de festa mas não gostam de dormir ao lado da festa e também ter o seu descanso respeitado. realmente o hostel mais limpo que já fiquei. equipe da portaria muito querida e atenciosa!

i never write reviews but this hostel is PERFECT and i cannot recommend it enough. it’s SO clean, facilities and rooms are modern, staff is incredible. it’s NOT a party hostel, know that, but it’s perfect for people working remotely (which i was) as there is a huge quiet common area where tons of people at the hostel work from. it’s safe and in a great location near bars, restaurants, etc. perfect stay. will 100% be back!

Great stay! Cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in, literally always someone cleaning. The staff members remember your name and make you feel so welcome. Very safe and secure hostel too. On a great road for the bars and closeness to lots of hiking trails. Hostel is great for digital nomads working, it’s not a huge party hostel, although there was always people who wanted to go out and socialise :) I was a solo female first time in South Africa and I’m glad I started my trip here!

One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed in..housekeeping is on top of everything. The staff are incredibly kind, and the owner, Zayed, is a truly wonderful host who makes everyone feel at home. The vibe is great, especially for digital nomads. Only small suggestions: adding a few more social activities and some hooks in the dorms would make the stay even better. Overall, amazing experience!

Mir hat der Aufenthalt hier sehr gefallen. Wer es gerne ruhig und entspannt mag, ist hier absolut richtig. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Frühstücksoption kann ich nur empfehlen zu buchen! ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

A female solo traveller's dream - faultlessly clean, attentive staff, and a prime and extremely safe location with a huge choice of restaurants, bars & shops all within 400m walking radius for evening meals. Sweetstay is also very well located for access via my citi bus routes to all the wonderful beaches and other tourist attractions Cape Town has to offer. I could not recommend more highly, and I cannot wait to return soon!

I had an amazing stay at Sweetstay. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and were always available for questions and recommendations. The rest-- and bathroom are clean and the balcony view is stunning for a hostel. Unfortunately the outdoor pool and hot tub area was not working at the time of my stay. But however, I definitely want to come back to Cape Town because the atmosphere feels familiar and there is a lot more to explore.
