Great spot, friendly staff, everything one needs. Close to the Cliffs and some great pubs.

Had a great stay and met lovely people. You have to meet Robert, the hostel owner. He built the whole place by himself. Nice breakfast, spontanous music sessions & clean rooms. Big kitchen to cook, but be aware that there is no supermarket in Doolin. Only downside: there are not alot charging ports in the rooms.

Excellent hostel, such a beautiful spot. The place is super cosy, charming and hosts are lovely! Awesome pubs nearby too. Would definitely come back highly recommend.

Such a lovely place to stay! We really enjoyed Doolin and found this hostel really cosy for our winter holiday. The owner was the nicest man who was so helpful and suggested places to go and scenic drives.

Adva and her partner are wonderful hosts at this hostel, and she gave great recommendations for music and activities in town each day. I would absolutely stay here again! I also loved the fire stove and activities in the common areas.

Stayed with my best friend and we had such a lovely time in this picturesque hostel! As two young females, we felt super safe and taken care of. Our only disappointment was a lack of people around our age and not very social guests during our stay. Super walkable to anything in the little town of Doolin (shopping, cliff walk, etc.) The owner of the hostel was SUPER accommodating, funny, kind, and allowed for an early check in so we didn't miss a Halloween event we were going to, thanks SO much!!...

Chambre très petite, pas de place pour mettre nos 2 valises. La salle de bain se trouve dans le couloir mais elles est personnelle et il y a des toilettes dans la chambre.

Bonne auberge de jeunesse! Ils y avaient tous les équipements nécessaire et la literie était confortable! Il faut savoir qu’il y a quand même beaucoup de règle à respecter qui peuvent contraignante pour certaines personnes mais ça ne retire en rien de la qualité de l’auberge !

Auberge agréable mais chère par rapport aux prestations proposées. 42€ en dortoir sans petit déjeuner. Par contre elle est bien placée (falaises de moher à pied au départ de l'auberge), proche du massif du Buren. Le plus c'est la cuisine, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se préparer de bons repas, et ambiance détendue.

Really good hostal, very comfy. The place was beautiful and Doolin was amazing. I recommend to go to McGann's pub.

The outside of the hostel is absolutely stunning! The inside is also quite clean and welcoming - although the bathroom did not have a shower rug so the bathroom floors were almost always humid/wet. There seemed to be only one power outlet for the whole dorm, which was probably the biggest inconvenience we had there. Breakfast is not available for free (it’s self-serve but at a cost), so we decided to grab breakfast outside instead.

Had a lovely stay. Kitchen was excellent, great location and lots of seating. Would definitely recommend. My only complaint is when me and my girlfriend were cooking breakfast, my father came over from the hostel down the street to eat with us. We were just quietly enjoying breakfast and a young woman employee very rudely approached my girlfriend and accused my father of sleeping at the hostel we were staying at (he didn’t) and she told us that my father shouldn’t be here and needs to go.

Very nice location and the staff were quite friendly. Mostly quite clean (nicer towels would improve this, considering they come at a fee too). Unfortunately lots of noise and banging all throughout the night which was quite unexpected in this location!

Super séjour, tout se fait à pied, resto, pub et falaise belle randonnée à partir de l’auberge environ 2h30 et retour en navette gratuite. Chambre privée de 4 avec salle de bain privée : très propre et Lit confortable. Cuisine partagée très bien équipée et hyper propre. Personnel super gentil et aidant avec plein d’info pour visiter la région.

As soon as I arrived I was scolded for using hostelworld to book my stay. From then on the lady was extremely short with me and gave the tone that everything should be obvious. This seems obvious to me: don’t partner with hostelworld if you don’t want people to book through it. Additionally, they charging for towels should you want to take a shower.

I LOVED staying at Aille River Tourist Hostel and hope to be back in a not too distant future. Robert, its owner, and the rest of the staff were EXTREMELy kind and the place itself was very charming. , with a really friendly staff. I would dare to say that from all the places I stayed in Ireland, this was THE BEST! Thank you!
