Really bad stay at the hostel. The manager (owns a shop next door) turned up pretty much every hour and told me off for locking the doors, although I explained that I had a laptop and other electronics inside. He was rude when I asked to the use washing machine. He treated the property like an extension of his own home. Please, book elsewhere!

- 旅馆设施让人失望，床垫的弹簧已经坏了，躺在床上非常硌，楼板的隔音不好，楼上噪音到凌晨1点左右，我刚开始以为是门口有人敲门，过了几个小时声音不断才知道是噪音

+ Самое первое, что мне понравилось - это тепло в хостеле. По опыту, за пределами Еревана в маленьких городках в морозы в хостелах прохладно, здесь было значительно теплее. И очень горячая вода в душе, это замечательно. Хозяева сразу откликаются на просьбы - быстро заменили чайник и обновили губки на кухне.
- С моей точки зрения, холодильник маловат, но для меня одной был в самый раз.

- The shower was clogged so water filled up to my ankles while taking a shower. I’m sure they will fix this but there is no window in the bathroom (which is located inside the dorm) so it got very damp
+ Everything from th hospitality of the owner to the spaciousness of the room. Where you can rent a bicycle from th hostel and bike down to Lake sevan and the monastary

+ There was good privacy in the beds, the owner was very helpful and often asked how it was going and how he could help. He owns a shop next door that was very convenient
- There wasn't any keys for the room or the main door so it felt like the security was kind of low and that anyone could walk in if they wanted to. I wish it was more secure and I would have felt safer.

+ Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent location in the center, close to all shops and the lake. A very quiet street, a great place to relax. Exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, and efficient bathroom and shower. Well-equipped kitchen. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended.

+ The owners (father and son?) were very helpful and kind. The lady who came in to clean did an excellent job. The older gentleman who also ran shop next door checked that everything was okay at least twice a day.
- There was an individual staying in the dormitory who did not follow general hostel etiquette This is in NO WAY the fault of the owners. This individual had no regard for the other people in the dorm. On the three nights I stayed there he came in and out of the dorm endlessly throughout the night until 3am. Banging the door open every time he came in, turning all the lights on, slamming the door into and out of the bathroom. Leaving the lights on when he went out again. (He could have used the bathroom in the common area where he was on his computer but he chose instead to come in and out of the dorm where everyone else was asleep). He made extremely loud phone calls after midnight outside of the hostel despite there being a sign which said NO NOISE AFTER 22.00. There was a family living in a private residence above the hostel but obviously he did not care about them or their young children either. He did not wash his own dishes despite a sign saying to do so. He took a shower every night between 2 and 3 am spending around one hour in the bathroom making a lot of noise. He spread his personal belongings on two chairs and by day 3 had started hanging his shirts and jackets off the end of beds that did not belong to him. He permanently left his electric shaver on the kitchen table and chose to shave himself in the common area rather than either of the two bathrooms. (As he was in the bathroom for at least an hour he could have shaved in there). He used the toilet and pushed the button down so hard that the toilet ran endlessly (wasting water and making a loud noise) until I went in and released the button. AGAIN THIS IS NOT THE FAULT OF THE OWNERS. Maybe a few more signs indicating acceptable behaviour in a hostel. If this person is still at the hostel I would suggest management have a talk to him. He is in the lower bunk next to the bathroom.
+ It’s decently social but the bed was AWFUL. I noticed that other people had covers over their beds, perhaps when the bed caves in they get those. However it was a good price and nice people
