Reviews weren’t lying when they say it’s very loud (may as well be sleeping on the street) - probably on the busiest road in Ipoh. Only one hot shower, bathrooms right next to the room & someone was phlegming constantly for about 10 minutes in the morning which was gross. No soap or shower gel. Bedding and towels were old and mismatched. Very flat pillows. Weird vibe and not welcoming staff. Poor selection of kitchenware and no sink to wash up. Room had AC and there was a cold water filter...

It wasn’t the most fancy stay. The bathroom was fine and toilet were decent. The rooms were quite noisy. A lot of noise from outside and the beds made noise as well every time you turned around. The hostel wasn’t social at all. The staff were fine and you could refill your water bottle.

Considering it’s a budget hostel, it feels unfair to complain. However, there’s no staff on site, so paying for our stay was difficult and caused some anxiety. The hostel has an off putting vibe, probably because the only security is the code on the front door. The bedsheets didn’t seem like they’d been cleaned, nor did the bathrooms. One of the bathroom doors doesn’t actually close. But again - you get what you pay for.

We weren’t expecting anything luxury for the price but unfortunately the property was incredibly unclean and had a strange vibe. We did not end up staying for the duration of our booking and left after one night. Bedding had stains, smelled like it had not been changed since the last person and there was something sprouting out of mould on the bathroom door which suggested it hadn’t had a good scrub in a long time! Not one to write bad reviews but overall not the best experience :(

Does the job

Need more warm showers for the guests only has one right now , a really small common area , beds are hard as a rock , it did the trick for accommodation but wouldn’t recommend

I liked the place I stayed. it was clean and there was lockers. no complaints. would stay again if I come again

Other reviews are correct about the street noise, you’re basically sleeping on the street to be honest, although I didn’t really care. Other reviews are a little soft complaining about such little things expecting too much for such a low price hostel.

Bon emplacement. Je n’ai absolument pas vu la responsable, ce n’est pas elle qui m’as fais le check in mais un autre voyageur. Dans l’ensemble propre.

No staff at the hostel, the room was next to a very busy road, which made the room very noisy the entire night. We slept really bad, even with earplugs. Common area was very clinical, filled with Chinese businessman. Location was nice, close to the touristic centre.

traffic louder, water filter, nearby night market, the volunteering here she good 👍, small lockers U can put your staff, not social, so far so good, it cheap!

Homey hostel is in a good location to the tourist places in Ipoh, but the hostel itself is unclean and has a weird vibe. There is no check in / hostel staff and the bathrooms are very basic. And unfortunately our bedding very was stained and looked very old, I wonder if it is ever washed or cleaned. Wasn’t impressed with our stay here.

Such an amazing hostel, with comfy beds and good facilities. in such a great location and the host is lovely. We extended our stay twice

Ok for a night, facilities are basic but fine. However not social at all, would not recommend to other backpackers

The owner is very nice, it’s a basic hostel with the most elementary things you need It’s not roomy but okey, not many facilities, no sinks for kitchen use

very noisy from car and motorbike sound the whole nite. Should hv proper sound prove the windows. Also, smoking in the apartment
