Abby Hotel by the River

Das Hotel an sich bleibt weit unter seinem Potenzial. Der Schlafsaal ist nicht besonders einladend. Im Treppenhaus und auf dem Rooftop steht überall Gerümpel rum. Es wirkt, als würde man auf einer Baustelle wohnen. Dafür werden, anders als, pro Nacht zusätzlich zum Buchungspreis 10RM Steuern erhoben. Das habe ich so noch nicht erlebt, deshalb hat es mich überrascht. Steht wohl aber in den Infos. Ich fände es fairer, wenn direkt der Gesamtpreis angegeben wird.

Leik hotel waarbij je makkelijk te voet ipoh kan ontdekken. Wij sliepen in een 6 bed dorm en er was verder niemand in de kamer. Airco deed het niet super goed. Je kunt wel genieten van een warme douche , en je kunt bestek en borden gebruiken van het hotel, ideaal voor je eigen ontbijt.

The room at 1st floor that the owner wants to give me was smelly dark without widow and probably dirty. The bathroom are outside sharing with others rooms ( was not what I booked) very dirty too, I complained about and he proposed me the six bed at 2nd floor which was better, at least the bathroom in the room but sinking toilet and they cleaned only for the check out not every day. The cleaner was polite.

The location of Abby hotel was right on the river and within walking distance to some large markets and a beautiful park! The staff was very kind. Our room was an 8 bed dorm right next to the smoking porch, it reeked of cigarette smoke day and night. Our door was kept open the entirety of our stay, we never received keys to be able to shut or lock it. The bathrooms were okay, the sinks and lockers under the bed were filthy. We met some great people, but I would not stay here again.

Checked in and our hostel was an absolute hole. 8 bed dorm and stunk of pi**. Toilet was also covered with pi**. Had a used cotton bud down the side of my bed and everywhere was so dusty that you could see dust particles speckling the air. No windows and wasn’t allowed to shut the door as they don’t give you a key to get back in. Nowhere at all to chill that wasn’t the lobby right in front of the reception. Just a really seedy and dirty place. We checked out an hour after checking in.

C'est ok pour une nuit en étape mais je ne recommanderais pas d'y rester trop longtemps.

This hostel was great. Good front desk, very clean beds, great water dispenser, rooftop with nice view, great location. just over the bridge to the old town, other side are night markets and other restaurants. Little India isn't far and following the river to the park is also nice. Not that great were the restrooms but it worked out for me just fine and I didn't experienced any social interaction with the people staying

Just bruh! Dont stay here. Weird people, weird vibes and not fun at all.

Positives: the bedding was clean, the bed was comfy, there was drinking water and a hair dryer Negatives: the dorm is always open, you're not even given a key, anyone can enter. There are lockers but not enough for every bed and they're filthy so my bag came out covered in dirt The curtain didn't cover the whole bed, which for a female in a mixed dorm is important for privacy The whole building has mess and junk everywhere - the pictures are a total catfish Absolutely 0 social atmosp...

Overall good stay, the only things I disliked were down to the other guests staying there who had a lack of respect in terms of noise in the night or just general cleanliness in shared areas, but this was no fault of the hostel.
