Great hostel. Very clean, great rooms, near the shops. Great staff. Basic facilities and limited storage.

Very modern and clean hostel. Was a little quiet for my preference but I’m sure that is a positive for a lot of people! (I was there on weekdays). The staff were very polite and the facilities were great. Great value for money.

The hostel was very clean and the instructions to get in were very clear. There is not always staff around but they did have a number you can call if something went wrong. The room was quite snug but the beds were very comfy and sturdy. There’s a bus stop to Snowdon 2 minutes away. My biggest gripe would be that a tea bag in the hostel cost £1.50.

Bedrooms and bathroom/toilet are all clean and well-equipped. There is no mirror in bedroom so you have to go into the bathroom/toilet to use it. They have drying room to air dry your damp clothes/equipments from the day out. The communal room is equipped with seatings, microwave, fridge and crockery. There is no luggage storage but you can leave your bags in the communal room. There were no staff during my stay but self check in and check out process is very easy.

Absolutely the only option to stay for doing snowdon, excellent facilities good vibe spotlessly clean friendly staff amazing and beautiful location with many bars / restaurants grocery and clothing shops. I’m looking forward to coming back here for my next hike :)

This rating would have been way higher except the staff disappeared for 2 days and I wasn’t told they would be there for 2 days straight. If I knew that, I would have asked anything I needed prior. For the one day I met the staff member, she was lovely. Everything else was great minus the atmosphere. Weekend was busier, but weekday only 3 of us in the entire hostel.

Great location, great facilities. Right next to the bus to take you to Snowdonia. Staff were really helpful for suggestions and advice.

We had a great stay in the hostel. Both the room and the common areas were cozy and clean. The position is perfect both close to a bus stop that to the train station (less than 7 minutes by feet). From there is really easy to get to Snowdon trails (only one bus), you got groceries and pub right behind the corner. Check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward. One of the best hostels we've stayed in.

Beautifully welcoming staff and exceptionally clean rooms! Had such a comfortable pre and post hike sleep. The walk along the river across the road is gorgeous and worth doing too if you have the time!

Lovely hostel -well run and maintained. A suggestion is for staff to be on site at weekends till midnight or all night as we had severe disturbance due to drunken youngsters coming in late. Don’t mind anyone having a good time but this lasted about one and half hours!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The staff was friendly, common space was welcoming, rooms were clean and they had curtains which is always a plus. It’s in a perfect location with many recommendations for food and hikes near by. It’s a cozy environment with various snacks, drinks and food available at any time even when staff is gone for the night. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and would definitely recommend it!

This is an amazing hostel. Very clean, stylish and comfortable. Beds are great with curtains for privacy and the showers are luxurious. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we loved the communal area downstairs. Given restaurants and takeaways stop at 8pm it would be great if there was hot food that could be bought for the microwave when returning late from a walk. Thanks for helping to make our weekend really special!

a really friendly place with all the basics done really well.

The stay was brilliant, parking was difficult with the entrance being a sharp turn right off a bend into a very steep hill. Once parked, had a lovely stay!

The hospitality was unmatched at this beautiful hostel. I had the opportunity to meet the team and get some inside tips on the local trails/hikes surrounding the area. The overall quality of the establishment was a solid 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back in the future. Thanks again to the BaseCamp team.
