Fantastic hostel, with a real homey feel. The energy, and the room was great. Kitchen and dining area was spacious.

A very nice place, although the kitchen facilities could do with an upgrade! as it was very small and not enough space to cater to all those people around. so, ad to wait until someone finishes. But the bed was nice n big/comfy and I had a beautiful furry friend in the room. The room had a cat who welcome me!

I was a bit disappointed with this place. I almost didnt get into the place if not a clueless guy just let me since I never recived there email with the code to get my key. (Kinda a big deal). The next day they didnt like my review of my experience and were confrontational about. funny thing is the next day this same thing happened to someone else. Vibe isnt good its mostly people that using it as an apartment or smoking weed all the time. No charging ports for your phone to easily acess either.

Lovely staff, and all facilities that one could need. The beds are great, really comfortable. Best of all, there is a hostel cat. Breakfast was quite expensive but I suppose that's to be expected in Switzerland. There was a free city travel pass for all guests, though, with a lot of other discounted things to do. I will go back, as I was only travelling through on my way home and there seems to be a lot to do there, and the hostel is a great base to explore, near the town centre.

Best hostel in Basel, worth the money! kitchen utensils, bathroom, and toilet cleanliness! Check in and check out the process very smoothly. You’ll find a tram and bus in front of the hostel! Groceries are also within walking distance. It's very warm, not a typical old-cold hostel. Tommy helps me with the basel transportation to the airport! Sebastian helps me with the late check in process, really thank you for your hospitality.

Cosiest hostel I’ve ever been to! There are lots plants and lamps, it’s always clean and spacious. The staff are also lovely and very happy to help out. Thank you Tommy for lending me the plug adapter.

Decorations are so cute they have FULL SIZE beds. Free basel card for booking any hotel/hostel which lets you use public transport and get discounts on museums. Very friendly staff.

great staff, super friendly. we stayed during NYE and it was quiet but i can imagine when hotter it is a great hostel. The heating was on full but it didn’t read feel like it, a little cold. Nice kitchen facilities, but really cool bathrooms with excellent water pressure and monstera plants everywhere. our room was right outside the upstairs common space/ dining table which was allowed for some late noisy people

I had a fantastic time staying with my friend in the dormitory at this hostel. The hostel was clean, the staff polite and helpful, the location near a tram-stop, and everyone I encountered here was respectful of one-another. I had to check out early in the morning, and had an easy time finding the keybox and laundry hamper for sheets. The green-house feel of the bathroom was a bit odd, but I quite liked the plants.

Solid hostel; located not too far from the SBB station; a bit hard to find at night (located in an old factory warehouse); good security and comfortable bed; quiet atmosphere.

Great facilities, full kitchen with all the bits and bobs needed to make food. A really cool old building, old bathroom but not dirty. Great bedroom - privacy curtains, and lights. Lacking in charging points but otherwise great. Big lounge and bar area as well as dinning table. Close to multiple trams and given a free travel card on arrival makes it easy to get around! Would recommend and would stay again :D

Does not seem clean. It was way too expensive for the services rendered. I would have appreciated separate bathrooms for men and women, and they placed me in a room with a cat- im allergic to cats. It was also really dark inside. The room was fine, it was the other facilities.

Overall I would not recommend staying here. First of all, it was just really dirty. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were dirty. Second, there were no chargers in the room or outlets. Third, the layout of the room sucked. Someone’s feet were where someone else’s head was. I did not feel safe here and was worried that someone could easily steal my items. The lockers did not shut properly either. Also, they put elder people in the same room, and they kept yelling at everyone - maybe split i...

I wouldn't stay here again. The atmosphere felt very cold & unwelcoming, there were cobwebs & a spider above my bed. The divider walls between shower changing rooms were kind of see-through. The staff was nice enough, but I did have to wait awhile for someone to show up at the desk so I could check in. I just didn't feel clean or comfortable here at all & was really glad to only be there for one night.
