Amistat City Hostel Barcelona

Great hostel considering the price & location - close to multiple metro stations which offer great connections to the city & only 20 minutes from Sagrada Família as well! The kitchen had everything you needed & the staff were great!

I had cash and an accessory stolen ! A cleaner entered the private room without knocking to empty the bins. I complained at reception about the robbery, but as the manager was not present, they were unable to do anything, and to this day I have had no update. I am very disappointed, as the reception staff were very friendly.

I really enjoyed my time here. Everything was clean, everyone was approachable, the evening entertainment was so good. Made lots of friends here and felt very safe as a female solo traveler. Would definitely recommend.

Wir mussten aus persönlichen Gründen direkt in der ersten Nacht in ein Hotel umziehen, da uns die Lautstärke und verschiedene unangenehme Geräusche in der Nacht einfach zu viel waren. Wir haben dann für den selben Preis in einem wunderschönen Hotel den Rest des Wochenendes verbracht. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, aber das Zimmer waren für den Preis wirklich sehr klein, die Ausgeliehenen Handtücher waren nicht richtig gesäubert und auch im Bettgestell gab es noc...

A great stay and great place

Great place to stay! Really awesome and unique environment! There's a great ground floor and basement level lounge with activities and the floors are in a unique style of decoration. However the location is a bit far from the centre and we had to pay for a taxi almost every time (I know that's not something that can be fixed but just to keep in mind) and the sink and shower kept flooding and was never fixed after I went down to notify the staff a few times.

Ik ben twee dagen vroeger vertrokken dan gepland en heb toch geen geld terug gekregen. Verder waren de bedden enorm vuil en ondanks ik vroeg om deze opnieuw te laten opmaken werd dit niet gedaan. Ook ligt het +-20minuteb met de metro vanuit het centrum. Er hing geen hostel sfeer en werd onderling niet met elkaar gesproken. Desalniettemin werd er steeds veel lawaai gemaakt in de kamers en was het er enorm warm.

The staff at the reception were so nice and generally the staff is just so welcoming, I loved the activities hosted by the hostel, the security was also good and rooms were being cleaned every day I loved that since I was staying in a 14 mixed room

Definitely best hostel iv stayed at, clean and must attract the right people because i had a blast with everyone there

Un excelente lugar para hospedarte, me la pasé increíblemente bien y a pesar de no estar en el centro de Barcelona está excelentemente comunicado por transporte público, sin duda lo volvería a elegir

Un bel endroit. Quartier tranquille, bien situé près des métros. Par contre, nous avons réservé une chambre privative avec deux lits simples superposés. Sur le site de réservation il était mentionné que nous partagions une salle de bain avec une autre chambre mais il s'est avéré qu'il n'y a qu'une salle de bain pour toutes les chambres de l'étage qui non pas là leur. Dans la chambre, aucune chaise, ni banc, ni petite table et l'espace rangement est tellement sombre, requiert la lumi...

This hostel was better than I expected! Location was mear the metro and store and 2 km from sagrada familia so not terrible. The room was modern and beds clean with curtains. The shower worked well and the room was silent so I could actually sleep very well! I would stay here again! Only minus was the amount of dust in the air. You could see the dust flying under the lights. Thank you to the super nice emploees as well💓

not very clean place. super dusty and they don’t clean the bathrooms. staff were great tho

Great place

Vibes were off, maybe because it's the off season or something. This place felt very much like a hotel but tried to be social. Music was blaring everywhere except the rooms. I don't want to hear loud techno at 10 am while I'm eating breakfast. The staff was super kind though and the beds were pretty comfy.

Nice, clean, safe. A great bed in Barcelona, only thing lacking are some chiller common areas imo

Great time at Amistat, only complaint is that there’s not much to see nearby.
