Bed & Chai

Horrendous experience. The hostel is NOT what’s shown in the pictures. It’s in disrepair, it smells of sewage and it doesn’t feel safe. My toilet wasn’t connected to the floor so sewage water flooded my room. There is no rooftop garden or fitness centre. It is not owned by two French women, it’s a woman called Surbhi Sharma. I contacted her about these issues when I arrived but she refused to engage in any conversation about it and refused to give me a refund. I left after one night.

Thank you it is very nice hostel and I would like to say that the maneger Satish was very kind also the cook and the clean man They are good and very helpful I liked the area it is a bit far from all places but a nice place to stay for ne it was comfortable Orit

We had such a great stay at Bed & Chai! Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The area is quiet and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend!

Cosy comfortable stay

The place is a giant lie. It's not owned by any French Women. The photos are from years ago when the place was a nice place. Now it's a run down shack! There are cockroaches everywhere. The rooms are all under construction with construction noise, smoke and dust all over the place. There is no lift for a 4th floor establishment. There is no cleanliness. There are only men everywhere and its not safe for women. There is no description of the hostel that is true -> all descriptions are...

Good location, friendly staff, could be slightly cleaner (not dirty) but overall pretty good.

The photos looks lovely however, the room was fairly gross and didn’t have any nice communal spaces. Definitely not worth the price. Didn’t feel super safe or comfortable while I was there.

Overall a good place to stay for the price. *Not as nice as photos. I don’t think French people own it anymore as mentioned in guide books. Walkable to two metro lines which is nice. Some nice places to eat within 10 min walking. Amazing coffee shop next door. Not good for people who want a social experience. More like a hotel, not a hostel.

Perfect place for a Delhi layover. Clean, comfortable room; lovely staff at reception; ideal location in Kailash with our favourite coffee shop downstairs. Thank you guys.

This is the perfect little hostel in Delhi. The staff is super friendly, the rooms are nice and clean, and the location is super convenient. I’ve stayed here twice because it worked out so well!

I had a great time in Bed and Chai. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull, the bedroom clean and calm et the rooftop is a nice place to have a quiet place in Delhi ! I felt safe and good very !
