Black Swan Hostel

The stuff was really caring. The activities they organized looked fun, they also have free dinner on some days which is a great way to meet new friends and also after checkout you can leave your bags at the hostel so while you are walking in the city for the rest of the day you don’t have to carry them

Best hostel to stay at in Barcelona imo. Nico and the receptionist team were super welcoming and chill. The hostel itself is easy to navigate and there are different socialising events you can choose. Rooms and facilities are clean too, with lots of showers and toilets available. Def stay again :)

Amazing location, 10 min walk from el born which has lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Also easy for transport connections and metro. There was a really social atmosphere with free dinner and social events every day and evening. Everywhere in the hostel was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The only disappointment was when the hostel lost hot water but this was fixed after ~24 hours. I’d highly recommend staying at Black Swan. 😊

I absolutely loved my stay here & would return in a heartbeat! The rooms are spacious enough, the staff are incredible, it’s a super social hostel so easy to make friends & there are plenty of activities to do every day, including a family dinner cooked by staff each night which was a great touch! Victoria was really helpful & I went to a salsa class with her which was so much fun - she’s got the moves! Had a lovely tapas tour with Katherine & Tommy too. Can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at this hostel, we got greeted very nicely and had good service during our whole stay. Fede was the best and let us borrow towels for the beach when we got ours stolen. Will def go back!

Free Dinner, great staff (Ina and Fede 🫶🏻) and amazing place to meet new people. Loads of good socials during the day and in the evening and good value for money. Stayed for six nights. Definitely recommend!

Me lo he pasado muy bien, el personal ha sido muy amable, sobre todo Nico... Me he sentido como en casa.La ubicación es excelente y, además, me han dejado dejar allí la mochila todo el tiempo que quisiera. Sin duda, mi hostal favorito en Barcelona ⭐

This was one of the cleanest hostels I’ve been to. Not even a hair in the sink or shower! Helena, Nicco and Rama were soooo friendly, it was lovely connecting with them and a few of the girls I talked to in the dorm. I liked how they had the free dinners, and a fridge to leave your leftovers, it helped cut down on food expenses. It was perfectly located only 15 minute walk to all the happenings. Fyi, no shampoo, and showers are all on one floor and bathrooms are all on the other floor.

This was my first ever solo trip and the Black swan hostel and its staff made it so enjoyable for me - Easy check in , Rodrigo at the desk was super friendly and helpful with telling me local food spots. The hostel was clean and the rooms were spacious and the beds had a curtain for privacy - Hostel is close to the metro and bus station - Tommy the events planner was an absolute legend we went on a great bar crawl with him on the Friday and he kept everyone safe and took us to some great spots

Really great place. Nico checked me in and he is such a nice guy. He helped me with everything so quick. If I ever go back to Barcelona, this is where you wanna stay.

It was a nice stay! We booked an only-female dorm. Beds were comfy and clean and the curtains were great! The room was clean and our view at the street was so cool. Toilets were public (women and men separately). Only thing I would probably change was the bathrooms. They were generally clean however, there were not enough hangers for your clothes, hair dryer was not working, they weren’t THAT private, they would not close at the bottom and they felt yk uncomfy to bath there…

The property was great, great location and very clean. The staff were great and made my trip 10x more memorable. Big thank you too Abdul for his itinerary recommendations and good vibes. And Nico for his friendly and helpful service in reception, I will be coming back here for my next travels it was great :)

Excelente hostel! Muy bien ubicado, silencioso, limpio y cómodo. Los chicos del staff son lo mejorrr, muchísima buena onda. Me recibió Nico, un genio! Sin duda cuando esté por Barcelona volveré allí.

Its a wonderful place to stay, its located close to the center so you can explore a lot on foot. In the Hostel every thing was very clean and the staff were super nice, especially Nico, who helped us with check-in.

Nico the receptionist was so lovely! He had such great energy and was extremely friendly! Loved our stay at Black Swan !

Ich wurde im Blackswan super lieb empfangen und hab mich direkt wohl gefühlt! Das Hostel hat alles was man braucht und auch die Zimmer wirken sehr durchdacht. Es gibt genug Platz fürs Gepäck, die Vorhänge der Betten sind sehr angenehm. Auch die Küche ist toll, vor allem das Angebot des kostenlosen Abendessen. Man lernt schnell neue Leute kennen, ich kann das Hostel nur empfehlen! Das Personal war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem Nico hat mir sehr geholfen. Würde sofort wieder herk...

Staff were incredibly friendly! Showers were also clean and good after a long day. Great vibe and fun people! They organize activities every day but also no pressure to participate. Kathrine was our night out guide and she was the absolute best, I’d definitely come back!

As a female solo traveller I loved this hostel. The staff were amazing and I met lots of wonderful people. It’s a great location and very close to the bus station. The activities and dinner with the hostel were also a great bonus.
