Thuis bij Schell

Nous avions réservé une chambre double, qui était déjà occupé par d'autres clients (double réservation), et nous avons donc été transférés vers une chambre mixte. Le hostel ne donne pas de cartes de chambres et une femme de garde doit être appelée pour rentrer de nuit. Les armoires pour les affaires personnelles sont abîmées, les toilettes et douches sont insalubres.

la propreté laisse vraiment à désirer, les draps n’étaient pas changé quand nous sommes arrivés dans le logement

The reservation was not valid, they said there was problèmes with Hostelworld so they didn't have m'y bed réserved. A bed next to toilet, with light all night and people getting in and out without the possibility of closing totally the door. So i would not recommand the hostel and not recommand hostelworld

It was an experience.

Tyvärr kan vi inte betygsätta vistelsen då personalen inte svarade på varken mail eller telefon innan kl 20 då vårt tåg blev försenat. Det slutade med att vi fick boka in oss på ett annat boende skulle vilja ha tillbaka pengarna för bokningen då vi inte kunde bo där.

Horrible! Odeur de sueur, lit mal propre et dortoires minuscule. Allez ailleur.

I am very upset about the service because when we went the guests were disrespectful, but what I dislike most is that we found one bedbug in bed and it gave me a horrible joy when I returned from vacation, they already charged me but for me I would not have paid the full price for that bad experience. (Sorry my English isn't very good)

My experience here was terrible. I was eaten alive by bedbugs just from staying one night and I had to cancel my second night. When I spoke to the staff and owner, they were quick to dismiss my issues and said it was just allergies when my body was clearly covered in bedbug bites. They just blew it off as if it wasn’t a big deal and I was truly worried about the other girls staying in the same room as I. I had to fight and push to get my money back but they didn’t even give me a full refund.

the location is excellent, but the structure leaves a little to be desired. the female bathroom has a shower that wets everything even the toilet and there is no space to put your beauty case, it also has black stains on the ceiling. the dormitories are ok, but when you undo the bed to separate the sheets from the pillow and mattress you notice some obvious yellow and brown stains.

There were bedbugs (horrible), it was very hot and they didn't let us sleep with the door open for safety reasons.

Most of the hostel smells strange because to does not get fresh air, the women room was ok because you could open the big window. There is no atmosphere to this hostel, there is not really a common area there is one table in a tiny hallway. The shower I used was clean but it had mold (becasue no fresh air). Basically once you check in you never see the staff again. It was not a bad stay there, but I've been in better hostels for that price. Netherlands is expensive for hostels though.
