Recharge Hostel

Would not recommend. Pictures are not representative of the place at all and rooms feel beyond dirty with minimal ventilation, space, or secure lockers. Bathroom floor mat looked like it hasn't been changed for months and there is black mold all over the shower Also no backpacking vibe or the likes, please choose different

Das war das SCHLIMMSTE Hostel in dem ich war (und ich war in SüdOstAsien reisen). Das Zimmer war extrem dreckig, die Dusche war kalt, die Raumaufteilung mit den Betten hat überhaupt keinen Sinn ergeben (die Pods wurden direkt vor die Fenster gestellt), die Tür unten zum Hostel ging nicht zu und alles ist extrem heruntergekommen. Ich war auf einem Bikepacking Trip und mir wurde verweigert, es drinnen irgendwo abzustellen. Die Konsequenz war, dass mir das Rad etwa 1h nach Ankunft geklaut wurde

This Hostel isn't what I expected. The photo's are much prettier than in reality. The outside door isn't locked. The dorm is locked with a password which is nice. The stairs are overdue and are steep, not easy to walk on. It didn't look clean. We couldn't use the lockers (no keys). The fridge was dirty and we couldn't turn it on (no socket). Beds are different but still okay. Bathroom is fine. The bedsheets smelled like someone else slept in it before. Staff didnt spoke much only for few minutes

Its less of an hostel and more of a guesthouse! No lockers, no common washrooms, handled by one man only

Great location. Friendly staff. Good price. Clean shower and toilet. Toiletries = a basic all-in-one face, body and hair wash. Each bed has its own lamp and power sockets, including USB. No breakfast, but there are nice bakeries in the area. Lockers available but can't be locked using own lock. Bed curtains don't close perfectly, yet good enough to give a sense of privacy. No common area or room for much socialisation. 15~20 mins walk to the train station.

Below expectations, outer door didn't close properly and door to room was only looked by a code. It was very crammed, especially the staircase. However I felt the cleanliness was good enough and the dorm beds themself felt private.

The stay was far under the expectations and descriptions. The soap was empty. Light doesn't work in the bed-bunkers. No windows (Therefore no natural light.) No proper cleaning (The floor was still dirty, there were dead mosquitos and there is lime on the shower-tap. No proper ventilation (The ventilator is far from sufficient. It was hard to breathe and hot in the room. Especially in the upper beds.) Half of the lockers don't have keys but are open, so they can't be locked.

if theres any warm weather i would avoid this place like the plague, The entrance to my bed was at the foot and i was surrounded on all other sides by wood. That and having no windows in a top floor room with 6 other people made it one of the worst sleeps of my life. I felt like I was being cooked.

Pros: -Staff is very friendly! -GREAT location Cons: -Although I am not easily disgusted, I feel like cleanliness should be better. All roomies arrived that day but still the room was clearly not cleaned before. Besides I am pretty sure the sheets were not clean either since my roomie and I both found multiple hairs in our bed and tobacco on the night stand. -there is no common space and the rooms are very small for six people to sleep. Conclusion: recommend if they approve cleanliness

there was no window, and only a little fan so it was extremely hot one of the nights, the photos make it appear to be a very high end hostel but it just isn’t. your paying a lot of money and receiving quite a mediocre property. very steep dangerous stairs too so if you have a big bag on wheels i probably would advice not staying here. the staff were okay, man was nice but i was left sitting in the office for 15-20 minutes waiting to check in. i wouldn’t recommend this properly. good location
