All was very nice! Very good location, cheap price, extremely friendly stuff. This place has everything you need + terrace. Big bonus for the kitchen and a lot of free space to hang out. I was there almost a week and did not regret it at all!!!
Great hostess, super clean, great location. My third time staying here.
I was with my mom and they took care of us super well!! Very good atmosphere and service! The owner is a very kind person!! The installation of the Hostel with comfort and everything super clean. I will coming soon again!!
Very nice people at the reception. Super helpful! The hostel was ok, but I was at the moment when most of the travellers were not very communicative. Nobody was saying hello, good morning etc. (Not the fault of the hostel itself). My room was very simple and the materace not super comfortable for me (maybe ok for others). There were missing few things (shelf next to the bed etc. ), but hostel has nice location.
Great location near city center, shopping and bus station, good wifi, kitchen equipment a bit haphazard, unfortunately very strict about the check-in time and luggage storage only loosely in front of the reception desk. At first the receptionist tried to keep my ID card as a key deposit without even saying anything. When I noticed she played it off saying the police don't check people like me (white) anyways. But she knew full well that, as a foreigner, BY LAW I'm required to have my ID card on ...
Very sweet place !! I would enjoy to stay more nights :)
Nice place. I was a little wrong age for it but the owner was very accommodating.
THEY FORCE EVERYONE OUT FROM 10-3 DURING THE DAY. NOT somewhere you want to stay if you want to have a chill day, or especially if you’re a digital nomad. They get very angry at people about this too. They don’t turn the aircon on for your room unless you ask them. We didn’t get back to the hostel until 9pm and by then the staff had left and so we spent the night sweating through 35 degree temperatures with no AC remote because they refuse to let people in the room have control of it.
I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay for one night. I departed very early in the morning to catch a ferry - about 15 minutes walk to the port. The hostel was full but well managed. It was clean. Bathroom facilities good. The people were friendly. I had some interesting chats in the kitchen dining area. There is also a roof with a sitting area and with beds available on the roof - maybe people sleep there when its overcrowded or who prefer sleeping outside! The hostel closes from 10 to 15:00.
1 small and 2 huge negatives which mean I would not stay again. The small negative being 10am check-out. The big negatives: 1. Everyone has to leave the hostel every single day and stay away from 10am until 3pm ”for cleaning”. Very inconvenient. 2. I asked to leave my bag to the hostel when checking out at 10am. I was rudely told that it must be collected latest at 3pm when I would have needed to keep it until 7pm. Totally, totally pointless to inconvenience the customer like so.
Tout est super. Décidant de rester une nuit de plus, ils ont été super ! Personnel adorables 😌🍀🌱🙏🏼
My stay here was okay, but there were some issues. The kitchen area is very cramped and uncomfortable to use, especially with people sitting around, which made cooking difficult. There was also some confusion with the beds since they aren’t numbered, and my roommate even had her linen taken by mistake. At night it gets really hot, and the air conditioning isn’t left on—you have to go and ask each time, which isn’t very convenient. Overall, it worked for a short stay, but I think there ar...
The owner was nice, however the cleaning lady was very rude and bossed the guest around as if she owned the place. Hostel has a rule that all guests must leave the building between 10am and 3pm for cleaning purposes, however it's not very well cleaned at all. They would literally come and wake you up at 10 and tell you to leave. The kitchen is a counter outside, with a plug in stove that looks quite outdated and unsafe.
Sweetest host treats guests like family, woke up to her homemade banana bread & jam, making hectic Heraklion feel like home. Tight space with 1 weak hot plate, coffee & snack area. Beautiful rooftop. Doors slam at night; closed 10 am–3 pm for cleaning. Mostly clean but only 3 toilets, so can get messy. Hand-held showers. Great price for solo travelers. Wifi can be very slow at times.
Really cute hostel with nice rooftop and common areas ☺️
Awrsome place. The owner was super kind. I accidentally booked for a day later and she was able to book me into another room. 100% recommend
There is 0 water pressure in the shower and the sink, the beds squeak so loud you can’t sleep and you can’t turn the AC off at night, so be ready to freeze to death in your sleep (as a bonus you can’t turn it on during the day, when it’s actually hot). At 10 am the cleaning lady comes and tries to kick you out, so she can clean, even when you’re not checking out… the only nice thing here was the owner, she was really lovely. Wouldn’t come back though…
Good location, small kitchen and rooftop area to hang out or dry clothes.
Ostello molto accogliente e davvero pulitissimo. Personale gentile e disponibile, bel terrazzino e belle persone
