It’s good for a bed to sleep in but that’s it. The vibe is really weird, and as a female traveller i wouldn’t have felt safe here if i wasn’t travelling in a group.
I’ve been to many hostels across Europe, and I’ve never been to one that had so little security. Never got a key to my room, the front door was always kept open, and my personal locker was broken. As a single female traveler, didn’t get a good vibe.
You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest, no locks on closets or room, but nice staff and okey facilities. Clean bedsheets, and kitchen with what you need. Don’t use the microwave, it was smoking. I felt safe, and the location for city and bus were nice. Many of the reviewes are bad for this place, but I had a nice time, and did not have any bad experiences. Weird check in, but no trouble with payment.
Great price. Bus to city center
i have a nice stay there, the staff are really helpful, and it's interesting to meet some local people there
I would not recommend this hostel to anyone. The hostel is not completely clean but the worst part is the staff. There is a clash of cultures there, I have seen people being harassed and I have also been harassed. One woman was asked to clean the dishes as she was a woman and therefore was 'her duty to do so'. When I protested due to the loud noise in the evening (after 11 p.m.) I was harassed and bullied for protesting. Not recommended
Worst hostel i have ever seen. The reception old man was very rude and worst property i have ever seen..not value for money..dont waste your money and time here
no security. had a homless man entre the room and try to remove a women from her bed. turns out he is allowed to stay there whenever really. i undertsand helping people and i am all for it. but the lack of security and the attitude shown to this women and her partner was awful. i also do not expect to be paying to stay in a place where random people can just turn up and stay for free? not to mention wastn that clean. it was tidy but not clean. facilities were basic.
Essentially a halfway house. Dirty place with a bad atmosphere and hardly any security to prevent people coming into your room and helping themselves to your stuff (thankfully didn’t happen). Don’t bother if you’re a traveler.
It's an alright hostel. A bit strange, because there seem to be people permanently living there... Also not quite sure if the bed linen are changed after every guest. Out of my hostel experience, the kitchen is great. You can cook a simple meal and eat it there. Water tastes like sulfide. Very bad English spoken by staff and only semi helpful. But alright...
What the hostel needs to improve on: 1. The sole male staff member comes into the female dorm, often. And often without knocking. I found him cracking the door to peek in more times than I could count and he would jump away acting guilty. I think he was trying to see if anyone was in there, but there are more appropriate ways to do so. My friend woke up at 3am to a man standing in our doorway with the door cracked open watching us, and he ran off when she yelled at him….this woke me up and ...
