I am not one to leave a review but I am honestly blown away this place! It superseded my expectations and some. It is clean/modern/safe, every little detail has been thought of. And given it is pods and a shared bathroom you will be surprised by how luxurious it feels! Staff were amazing. One of the nicest places I have stayed!
Auberge de jeunesse parfaite pour partir en amoureux, jaccuzi top, confort et isolation sonore aussi !
Great location and efficient check in/out. Pods are a block away from a parking garage and fairly central to the city. Rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious for a pod. You get a wristband to badge into your floor and pod. Wristbands give you access to the self serve bar and vending machine to pay at checkout. Definitely plan on returning next time I’m in Reykjavík
We stayed here during our first day in Iceland. The staff was so sweet and surprised us with some champagne as we were celebrating our honeymoon. The communal spaces were clean and inviting. We enjoyed the lobby area during breakfast and it had everything that you needed. We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location, super close to a lot of great restaurants and shops. Also there was a parking garage nearby where we could park for a good price. We had a great visit! Thank you!
Really great little hostel if you don’t mind small accommodations. Theres an app that lets you control the lights. You walking distance to most places. If you’re doing excursions Bus Stop #6 is five minutes away. By booking through HostelWorld you get a free breakfast (unfortunately CityHub didn’t let me know that until I left so I spent money on breakfast both days). Get place for people just looking for a place to sleep. I would stay here again.
Ottimo ostello situato in posizione centrale, pulito e personale cordiale
Amazing place to stay! Super close walk to everything and super clean with friendly staff that have great recommendations!
The location was very clean and centrally located. There’s space to social and the facilities were private and well equipped. If I find myself in the area again I would be sure to stay here.
Cityhub in Reykjavik, Iceland, charged our credit card four separate times!! We should have only had charges of €163.40 and €343.45. Instead, we were charged $191.53, $397.61, $400.26, and $404.72!! So we are now left to fight to get the overcharges back from this place, which left us with a terrible feeling at the end of our stay. Additionally, when we brought up our concerns to the staff while checking out, we were quickly brushed off and told there were no errors. Not a good exp...
A great place to stay in the middle of the city. Easily accessible and close to everything. Check in was easy and the hub concept is a fun one if you're an adventurous traveler and just need a place to crash. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bathrooms and showers were roomy and clean and the rooftop hot tub was a nice perk.
This was my second time staying at a CityHub and I love the concept and amenities available. This was the perfect location to the shops, cafes and 20 min walk to BSI train station. I unfortunately injured my shoulder while I was staying here and the receptionist was very helpful with making me an ice pack and offering me support. I will definitely stay here again.
Was great!!
Rooms too small. No bus route connections. Stay at the bus hostel for easy access to places.
First time staying in a hostel and it is an excellent in between a hostel stay and having your own private room. Bunks are separated into pods that you cannot see or hear your bunk mate. Right in the heart of Reykjavík. Very walkable area and awesome front desk staff
So nice and beautiful and clean and new! Excellent sleep.
