Nosara Hostel Costa Rica

Had such a fun stay here! Location is great, really close to the beach and a lot of good restaurants are in walking distance (10-20mins). Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The vibe of the hostel was great too, everyone chills out in the common areas so it was easy to make new friends! I wish there was AC in the dorms because it can get really hot, but overall it was great.

Loved staying here, people were great and right by playa guinoes which had some nice swell when I was there. Further down the beach you go the bigger the waves get. Easy to rent a board and walk to the beach. There is salsa/bachata dancing at II Pepperoni on Tuesday night 8-11 it’s fun. Other than that town is pretty quiet and a bit expensive but poke bowls at orgánico are great

I stayed at multiple hostels in my life and this one is definetly my favorite one. Dei (the host) is such a warm, friendly and lovable person, always there to help, answer your questions and even guide you throughout your stay. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and a few minutes walk from the little city (restaurants, shops, markets…). The establishment is very clean, people are taking good care of the property and met amazing people at this hostel, made friends for life.

I loved my stay at this hostel! It’s very close to the beach and on the edge of town. It’s got surf and bike hire right outside. The hostel is expensive but for the area it’s very good value. My experience was sociable but very chilled - would love to return

Great place to stay. Lots of great guests and staff. Very close to the beach and theres a surf shop next door. Watched the monkeys or the surf in the morning with a complimentary coffee. I was there as they were making some AC upgrades.

What a wonderful spot! Feels like home with a great kitchen and lounge area. Right next to the beach and perfect if you are looking for a quiet, surf focused trip to Nosara. Staff were fantastic and so welcoming!!

I love love love this hostel - I truly can’t say enough good things about it!! The people are amazing, the location is perfect for surfers and yogis, and the vibe is 10/10. + the room wasn’t hot at night with the fans!! I can’t wait to come back

Great location if you want to be close to the beach! It is a bit far from the main city but still walking distance. I was worried about no air conditioning in the night time but the rooms have open windows (with screen protectors) with fans so it is no problem sleeping in the night. The only issue are the dirty bathrooms. Otherwise great hostel! It attracts a mature crowd so it is quiet in the night time.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, it truly feels like my home away from home. D, who runs the hostel, is amazing and one of the main reasons I keep returning to Nosara. The vibe is always great, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen is large and fully equipped. I come to surf, the beach is just a 3-minute walk — hard to beat. I only get a two-week vacation each year, and I choose to spend it here every time. Thanks again, D, for making this place what it is!

Great spot!

I've been there for 5 days and wanted to extend ahain&again,it was fully booked out... so I had to leave with a full heart and a smile in my face. The people working and beeing around that magical place are so inviting, it gives kind of a familiar feeling but still is everybody free to do their own business. The most beautiful beach is just nearby, so as the surfshop. You gotta walk a bit to go out for dinner or stuff but it makes it even more magical to be in a quiet area. I'll come back!

Di is a good lady who really helps you out at the hostel. Grateful for the kind staff, good location beach is right there ! And chill atmosphere

I had the most fantastic time at Nosara Hostel. Di was so friendly and kind, giving good recommendations and working hard to upkeep the property. Johan is a great surf instructor and knows the area well. I felt home there, and I hope to be back soon!
