Central Studios Gloucester Road

No bolt for inner door. Horrible other oxcupants who were shouting and banging around till 1 am. A loud beeping was going on all through the night. In the morning I found the front door to the block wide open to the street with the handle ripped off and the lock making the beeping noise. Horrendous experience.

Clean and value for money but the WiFi wasn't working.

We booked multiple rooms as a group of 10 over 2 nights. Cleanliness is practically non existent unfortunately although the shared bathrooms were ok. The rooms are tired and shabby. Checking in is ridiculous. Go to one hotel to check in then proceed to this property and wait for a code to access entry plus your key. It took 5 phone calls and more than 30 minutes of waiting before we eventually received codes for some of our party. Only positive is the off street parking.

i was a little confused as there was no one to check me in and that threw me off, but after i got my code over the phone i got in my room and i loved it. The shared bathrooms are beautiful as well. The only downside was that my bed felt a little broken, but that didn't really affect my sleep because I was so tired, so all in all i had a good stay

I never usually leave reviews but we really had such a terrible experience with our stay. We are a very understanding group of people but honestly hostel world and this 'hotel' treated us terribly. We selected pay on site and we're pressured multiple times to pay over the phone. The hotel was so run down, the sheets had not been changed, stains on the walls, shower facilities that did not work, dirt under bedside lockers, the front door was left constantly open and the atmosphere was scary.
