Great facilities like a BBQ, well-equipped kitchen, and a nice garden area. There weren't so many guests so I got a room on my own. Staff was super friendly and gave me a good advise on what to do in Coromandel
I found the price to be far too high for the amenities provided in the rooms. And I really didn’t appreciate that the receptionist took a photo of my Visa card along with the security code.
Great hostel, really nice people who work there. The kitchen and living room were great. However there were only two unisex toilets and showers for the entire hostel and campsite. This also meant that the toilets were kinda gross halfway through the day.
Wir hatten im 6er-Zimmer gerade mal zwei Steckdosen und vor allem in der Küche war viel dreckiges Geschirr
Wunderschön! Schön gelegen, tolles Zimmer mit schönem Außenbereich! Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und geben gute Tipps. Die Küche ist unglaublich gut ausgestattet unf es gibt genug Platz in Kühlschränken und Tiefkühlfächern. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.
Great hostel. Super clean and nice staff. Felt safe and welcomed. They gave us recommendations and were kind. It felt more like a bed and breakfast. Close to a lot of cool places. Would recommend.
Has a lovely view! Clean facilities and really well stocked. Owner is super nice, always open for a chat and has some really good tips. Would stay here again :)
Hosts were warm, welcoming and couldn’t do more for you. Facilities were great, and the location is quiet and serene in the sun.
Surprisingly relaxing & well priced place for budget travelers. The bunk rooms, the amenities and the rest were very clean & tidy. The manager is very friendly and forthcoming with showing & explaining the place. Perfect location to walk in to the heart of Coromandel for a drink, dinner or shopping.
A lovely couple running this hostel. Spent time giving us lot of recommendations, checking on us and even supplying us with plums from their tree! A lot of effort put into maintaining the facilities. A lovely living room area and outside dining space incl a BBQ. Room, kitchen and bathrooms were basic but functional and we had no complaints. Right next to the small coromandel town. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. Thanks to the hosts
Really nice place for a night or 2, hard to get to cathedral cove from but you can see the sunset over the beach over it
Nice hostel with a great kitchen and great bathroom, very small though but still a nice place to meet new people. The town itself is really small so not incredibly much to do, but it's definitely a nice place to chill down for a bit! They also got a really sweet cat roaming around!!!
Gute und saubere Unterkunft:)
Die Unterkunft ist günstig und es gibt in der Umgebung Coromandel nicht viele Hostels. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze. Ich habe mich sehr sicher gefühlt. Die Küche ist klein mit wenig Ausstattung oder freien Gewürzen zur Verfügung. Am Abreisetag habe ich pünktlich ausgecheckt und bin noch eine Stunde im Garten geblieben, dann wurde ich allerdings gebeten das Gelände sofort zu verlassen. Das kenne ich aus allen anderen Hostels anders mit Aufenthaltsräumen und kostenloser Gepäckaufbewahru...
Loved this place! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and welcomed. That atmosphere had a great local vibe with a great short walk to town and many beautiful beaches just a scenic drive away. Hosts were wonderful and caring as well.
It’s your best and almost only choice. Reception it’s a bit rude. Check out is at 10 and you cannot use the toilet or grab some water at 10:02, been there done that. Workers staying there and waking up at 5:20am, you can hear everything there.
This is in my top two hostels in New Zealand - so nice and clean - facilities were great and staff were so helpful. In the town too and lots of free parking too
Wow! Perfectly clean, great common spaces and right on the water! Hosts are so kind and knowledgable about the area. Perfect place to have as home base while exploring the Coromendel penninsula!
beste küche ever, sehr sauber und nicht viel los. zimmer kann man nicht abschließen.
Female Dorm war sehr sauber und nicht voll ausgebucht, Bad und Küche auch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen und kommt von Coromandel Town eigentlich überall recht gut hin (mit dem Auto!). Zu Fuß sind es max. 10min ins „Zentrum“.
