MEININGER Bruxelles City Center

Solid hostel/hotel. A typical Meininger. No social activities unfortunately. The area behind the hostel seems a little unsafe, but the center and the metro aren’t far. In my room, it was quite hot and we had 1 shower in a 10 bed dorm; that is a bit annoying.

Cleanliness in the rooms could be improved.

The room and bathroom are fine. But I wouldn’t call this a hostel and wouldn’t stay again. The shared spaces were constantly overrun with different school groups, making them completely unusable. Can only use 2/4 of the hot plates on the stovetop or the stove gets too hot The washing machines did not clean my small load of clothes and left them smelling like I’d left them there for days. This is a fantastic hostel/hotel in a great location very close to the main train station. The staff are kind and multilingual. I arrived on my birthday and they sang “happy birthday” while we were getting checked-in. Overall 10/10.

City centre and public transport are close by. Friendly support staff. It could be better if more washrooms are available.

Passei apenas uma noite, mas foi um dos melhores hostels que fiquei até agora. Muito limpo e os atendentes muito atenciosos. É bem localizado, mas saiba que você terá que fazer uma caminhada de 10 a 15 minutos por algumas ruas um pouco mais vazias até chegar no centro, durante o dia foi tranquilo, mas não sei como é a noite, especialmente se estiver viajando sozinha. Pretty good hostel nice bar. I could only find one fork in the entire kitchen. Paid luggage storage which sucks. I was in the female only room and at midnight a man came in with a keycard and it turns out the receptionist seemed to assign the male a room in the female only dorm. The man went down and sorted it when we toldhim it was female only but that should not have happened in the first place.

Very nice hostel! I booked the night of at 23:00 due to a canclled eurorail. Staf was very accommodating to myself and the others that had also had their train cancelled. A bit of a walk from the city centre but not the worst location!

Great property. We got our own room with our own shower. Staff were timely and great and it’s close to public transportation/ city center.

The facilities were great and the entire hostel was extremely clean. There seemed to be a lot of school groups staying here which shaped the atmosphere. Some personal possessions were taken from the dorm room by another guest which was a shame (though not the fault of the hostel). I was impressed by the response by the staff. Overall a good hostel.

Great stay and facilities were modern and clean without any problems. The only little feedback is to get curtains for the beds, especially in the big rooms, for privacy.

We stayed in a private room which was fine for us as we were hardly there. The location was convenient, only 15 minute walk to the city centre. During our stay there seemed to be teens staying as well & they made some noise in the halls but we didn’t hear anything in the room.

La camera doppia è molto grande, l'unico problema è stato l'ultimo giorno quando le signore delle pulizie sono entrate in camera alle 9 di mattina, quando c'è palesemente scritto che il check out è alle 11, probabilmente è stato un problema di comunicazione tra reception e staff.

Good place, nice kitchen, big dorm well eqquipped

instalações muito boas, quarto bastante confortável. localização um pouco longe do centro de Bruxelas, o que atrapalha um pouco. não encontrei muitas atividades no hostel para fazer, para quem está indo sozinho é um pouco difícil de conhecer pessoas nesse local.

This property isn’t exactly the city center…perhaps a little misinformed. There were huge school trips in when I was staying and this made using the kitchen nearly impossible, and the shared spaces were a bit chaotic with large assemblies of people. Still, the beds were clean as were the bathrooms. Can’t complain, and it wasn’t too terribly expensive.
