Good location for seafront and train station. low security score due to flimsy side gate dorm access being constantly left open. Access to dorm also through café but dorm had no useable lock on one of it's two doors. kettle and microwave available but no cutlery or crockery to use.
Clean place good for a day trip, no common area though
One of the worst hostels that I have ever been. It's horrible. Not space, the beds are bad, really bad. Its just one room in the whole hostel and its noisy every time, just a really bad experience.
Pfffft. This place isn’t even that bad. The people leaving bad reviews are people that wanna pay a budget price but don’t wanna live a budget life. This place is fine. If you’ve backpacked the world then this place is nothing compared to places you’ve probably stayed. Personally I thought the beds were the comfiest so far in Japan. The staff are awesome. I’d stay here again.
Very close to the beach and not that far from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful :)!
Small, maybe too much, the room was badly organised and it gave me the feeling that wasn't so clean. The staff was good and helped us in anything we needed, and this is the reason I'm still saving the place!
Building is in very bad shape. Smells super bad and the two bed room is not really two. It was vey bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here unless is an emergency.
Good for one night. Cheap and easy. Good location and nice staff
Stayed in a private room. Super cute and clean. Standard Japanese with limited moving around space. Comfortable beds and pillows and even a loft bed that was cozy and cute. Bathroom is close to rooms and clean and shower has amazing water pressure!
Everything was clean and the staff was helpful. This is a very very small hostel though. It's 6 beds (3 bunks) in the back of a cafe. I felt safe to stay here, but it felt pretty claustrophobic. The storage for the cafe is in the room, which means the staff has to regularly come in to get supplies.
Beautiful people
great place to stay near the beach!
Absolutely not recommended. The dormitory is a garage, street level bad smelling and dirty. The prize is not fair for such a terribile accomodation.Stay away.Only good thing was the very nice and helping staff, not the owner.
This hostel was a convenient distance away from the city center/train station, and the staff were kind and welcoming. The art on the beds was also very cute! I hope they can improve their facilities in the future, though. The dorms were basically a couple of rooms in the back of a cafe that were barely furnished, cluttered, and not the cleanest. (There was a giant hairball beside my bed… gross!) No common area, no slippers, and the dorm door could not lock at night so it didn’t feel the safe...
Personnel sympathique, mais l'espace des lits est vraiment vraiment rudimentaire, voir étouffant, les lits bougent de façon inquiétante et il n'y pas d'espace commun. Je ne suis pas restée la deuxième nuit prévue
Wonderful place to stay in Kamakura!
