Zero Box Lodge Coimbra

Since there are no windows the room gets very dark, which was so good for my sleep that I actually overslept. The rooms was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Great location, right at the city center. The place is also stylish, and comfortable.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay superb. I was very impressed with the simplicity, yet excellent quality of the room and WC.

This was such a cool and unique spot to stay! It was close to the train station and everything in town. Our rooms were clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The drinks at the bar were so good, too. I do not recommend staying if you’re a solo traveler with a primary goal of meeting people - however we were there in the off season, so things might be different in busier seasons. I would absolutely recommend this place for a great and relaxing spot to sleep!

Cool concept. Clean. Modern. Unbeatable for the price. Probably not ideal if your 6’ or above as the ceilings are low.

everything was really great, the capsule room is a really fun concept. Staff and Breakfirst were on point.

There needs to be a common area for people in the hostel! We were told the upstairs area is just for restaraunt guests.

I can’t tell you how well I slept the whole time I was there! The room is clean, dark, and quiet! From the minute I walked in until I checked out the front desk was friendly and helpful. I love that if you need anything you could communicate through WhatsApp if no one was at the front desk. At the time of this review (9/27/23) there was construction happening on the street it’s off of, but that doesn’t bother me one bit and walking paths are still there safely away from it. Love Zero Box! Great concept. Clean, comfortable and a sure way to get some good sleep! Staff is fantastic. Will stay in many more!

Pros: Great facilities. Fantastic restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Low ceilings in room if you are tall. Shower drains a bit slow. Surrounding area a bit rundown.

The Zero Box was an epic stay. Each room has its own private bathroom with soap, shampoo and body wash. The pillows are extremly comfy and the rooms are really clean when you arrive. But if you dont open the little window, humidity from the shower will accumulate in the room. There is also AC in each room. But, there is no place shared spaces. There is a bar/restaurant on the 4th floor, but I dont think you can go there just to chill. The rooms are really calm and you never hear your neighbours....
