Hostel 16 Oia

Location is perfect, in the middle of Oia, yet not busy and noisy. Means you are close to everything you need. ( shops, cafe,resto, photo spots) Dana is soooo kind and helpful. She recommended me a local village party and lend me her umbrella when it was raining.

Hostel 16 Oia, from what I experienced, is a quiet hostel with all the facilities you need, neat and spacious bunks, friendly and helpful staff and in the heart of Oia. Simply around the corner from Ammoudi Bay and the blue domes tourist attractions as well as a minute walk to the bus station, the location is perfect. On the pricier side of accommodations but makes up for it in location, facilities and comfortability.

Great location and place to stay

Danna is so kind and helpful with amazing recommendations. We were able to check in at 9am after an early travel morning which was a lifesaver! The place is super clean and organised with everything you need. Beds are comfy and you get a big pod with curtains, a light, charging port, and even a little table. Lockers are provided, towels included. The location is unreal—5 mins to the sunset lookout and 2 mins to the bus stop to Fira. Loved our stay here, would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved this hostel! It’s expensive but I think you get what you’re paying for. The location is amazing, the staff are so nice and helpful. They let us check in early. The beds are a whole cubicle with big curtains and even a bedside table. There’s also a nice patio upstairs with comfortable chairs. I would definitely come back.

This hostel is great aesthetically. Very comfortable beds with curtains and amazing space/privacy. Very clean and modern in a fantastic area. The owner is very helpful and nice. However, when I stayed here it was very empty and the few people staying here were a bit older and not social at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place to someone young who wants to socialise. Had a lot more fun at Fira backpackers.

The location was close (only minutes walking distance) to the bus stop and all of the shops, restaurants, and attractions. Despite the high activity outside, the hostel was surprisingly quiet. And even though it was a dorm, each bed was closed in to allow for the privacy needed. This was a unique feature I have not seen in other Hostels. The host, Donna, was so friendly and attentive. When time permitted, we chatted for a bit, making it feel like I visiting a friend, creating a warm-like home.

This hostel was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and an amazing location; I loved staying here! Danna* the host was very helpful, kind, and kept the hostel extremely clean. I appreciated the bunk privacy and comfortable bed. I wouldn’t even consider another hostel when I return.

Dana was the most incredible host and made me feel so relaxed and welcome. Thank you for making it such a special experience Dana.

We had a great stay at Hostel 16. Perfect location, great staff, clean and comfy and plenty of facilities. Price was more than we would usually spend on a hostel, but that’s reflective of Santorini prices, so to be expected. Thanks so much for a great stay

Great hostel! We actually had the 8-bed room to ourselves for the night, which was nice. The location is fantastic and the receptionist (I believe her name was Donna) was very kind and informative. The beds were comfortable and you actually have more space in your bed cubby than many other hostels. We thought it was a little pricey for a hostel, but we felt safe as female travelers, so at bottom we were okay with the cost.

Absolutely amazing! Nothing bad to say whatsoever. Danna’s (the owner) top priority to make sure people are happy and satisfied. She went up and beyond. 10/10 recommend this hostel!

Great hostel! Very clean, fantastic location, great bunk spaces and helpful staff. I don’t know why you could want to stay anywhere else on the island, Oia is by far the best spot

This hostel was one of a kind and amazing! The rooms are quiet and clean, the staff are friendly and will give you directions and recommendations if you aren’t familiar with the territory and the bathrooms are well kept. The place has a cute vibe and is within minutes walking from all the main places and attractions in oia. I would absolutely come back

Wonderful hostel in the center of Oia. The location is unbeatable, only 5mins from the bus stop and beautiful views. The staff were super friendly and helpful (with tips for exploring the island), and the hostel was airy and light. I liked the bed pods which had plenty of space and a storage locker and light/socket. They even provide lockers for leaving your items after check-out so you can explore without all your luggage.

We loved staying at Hostel 16 Oia in Santorini, the hostel is new but very comfortable and in a great location! The staff, especially Dana, and helped us with car and boat day bookings. The room itself is very clean, with new towels every day and the beds feel very individual as they are their own pods. The hostel is in an amazing location just walking distance away from main Oia town and stunning sunset views, we were super happy with our stay here :)

The hostel has a very good location. The service is excellent! The place is very clean and you can sleep perfectly! Highly recommended!
