there is water and tea for free. we really enjoyed our stay, even if we only stayed one night. the rooftop is very cute. it was very hot during the night and a lot of humidity if you book the fan-room. we also had a lot moscitos. everything else was perfect and clean😊
It's a bit hard to find the hostel but it's close to the port. I was in a dorm of 8 but we were only 3. Good for one night.
Super bonne auberge, le rapport qualité prix est top ! La gérante est absolument adorable et vous aide à organiser au mieux votre séjour. On recommande vivement :)
Located in the end of an alley where it was a bit dodgy and hard to find in the night. There was mouse traps around the beds and it wasn’t very clean. No curtains
Absolutely fine for one night if you’re going to the port but not a good place for any longer than this. Top bunks have no curtains bottoms curtains are paper thin so no privacy either way. There were bugs in the bathrooms so didn’t feel that clean. Absolutely no atmosphere despite advertising with a rooftop bar. Staff could barely be found when trying to check in/out. As said, absolutely fine if you need a cheap stay before catching a ferry but not worth staying otherwise.
Clean, really friendly staff and perfect location when coming from the port or going to the airport!
Not a social hostel at all. The bar area upstairs has barely any food available on the menu and was the closed fully the second day I was there.
Lovely, lovely staff. Super clean. Does the job. We only stayed for one night to get a flight but would recommend it for a place to stay.
Nice place for a night, wouldn't recommend staying more than that. AC worked great, bathrooms nice, and very close to the port which is the biggest selling point for me.
Staff was amazing. Great hospitality. The rooms were good but ants and small bugs everywhere felt a little dirty. The hostel is nice but wouldn’t recommend for solo if you want to socialise as a lot of the locals stay here and they don’t really wonna be social
Great place to stay! They have rooftop to chill and free coffee.
Stayed here for 2 nights. The dorms are good, pretty comfy beds and an abundance of fans. Toilet and shower were pretty clean. The roof top terrace is a great feature (we went in low season so it wasn’t busy but still nice). However, everything we asked for on the menu, they did not have, food or drinks, and they had no intention of restocking any time soon. Also, the bar does not serve single serving spirits… you have to buy the bottle. Alright for a night. Wouldn’t shout about it. The la...
Hostel was adequate with basic rooms and shower/toilet. Did the job. Atmosphere non existent.
A nice hostel in the city center. One disadvantage was the everybody in our dorm had a personal fan which made it very loud during the night Rooftop was chilled and staff was friendly
You get more than you pay for!
V friendly & helpful staff & v clean. Nice roof top with free t/coffee & water. The roof top bar wasn’t opened when I was there. Only stayed one night good value for what you pay.
The staff here is just amazing, so friendly and helpful ! The prices are better than anywhere, they even rent scooters ! And omg the two little fluffy dogs are adorable. Overall a great experience, I recommend
Very good place to stay for a couple of days of you find yourself in Dumaguete. The owner and hostess is adorable and super accommodating plus she has all the answers that a backpacker needs and she has the two cutest little dogs that you will love. The hostel offers an immediate friendly atmosphere although quite basic as an establishment. Very clean and very centrally located. Not all rooms have AC and there is no hot water in the shower but that is a common thing in the Philippines.
My room was essentially a suite, a bedroom and living room and small kitchenette. Very nice. Comfy clean bed. Good air conditioning
Lovely host, neat rooftop patio bar. Nice setup.
