good hostel, not super social but would come again. staff was very helpful!

I had a lovely and restful stay. The space was bright, tidy, and very well maintained, which made it easy to relax. The room felt comfortable and inviting, and the bathroom’s separate shower area kept everything neat and convenient. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A wonderful place to unwind while visiting Sun Moon Lake.

The team was welcoming and helpful whenever needed, and the location made getting around Sun Moon Lake simple. Buying attraction tickets directly from the host also comes with a nice discount. A relaxing and reliable place to stay.

I twisted my ankle the day before arriving and asked for a lower bed - they wanted to charge me more to have this bed cuz I was told I booked the one up (which is false- no difference in the price on the app) Just pay and take your bed - no smile - no info The spot is next to the lake which is nice

So far everything good. Slept well. Bit weird to leave the shoes in front of the main door (non secured, although Taiwan is safe), and having to rely on other travelers to open the door when arriving before the Host is there (before 2/3pm)

I really enjoyed staying here. Everything was spotless and nicely designed, giving a fresh and relaxing feeling. The bathroom was clean and had a separate shower area, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and the location made exploring Sun Moon Lake super convenient. You can also get great discounts on attraction tickets when buying directly from the host. A clean, comfortable, and welcoming place all around.

Guests can also buy attraction tickets from the host at a great discount, but only between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, so it’s worth planning ahead. A pleasant and well-managed place to stay.

Good place to stay, 2 mins away from suishe bus stop and suishe pier. Easy check in and check out. Room clean. Nothing to complaint about. Worth the money

Great hostel to explore Sun Moon Lake from! It's close to the bus station and pier, and you get several discount vouchers. My stay here was quiet: I had the entire dorm to myself, which was great! Super friendly staff too.

Hier hat mich eine sehr nette Frau in Empfang genommen ☺️gibt eine kleine Station mit ein paar Waren wie Ohrenstöpsel falls man die braucht. Das Hostel ist glaube ich mehr auf Ruhe ausgelegt und dafür perfekt🙂‍↕️

Located near Sun Moon Lake, bus stop only 1 minutes,it’s the perfect choice for travelers looking for an affordable, convenient, and cozy place to stay. Highly recommended!

I stayed in a female dorm at this hostel and had a fantastic experience. The place is clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's the best choice for visiting Sun Moon Lake, with the bus station and pier just a 2-minute walk away, making it very convenient for sightseeing. When you are,just scan a QR code on the door and receive the gate password. The location is perfect, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting the area!

You can only pay with cash and there is no kitchen. The a/c in my dorm didn't seem to be working very well, and there was traffic noise.

Good location on the main street close to everything. Kept very clean, nice common room to meet up people. Dorms were nice with curtains for privacy.

I would definitely recommend staying at Deer Traveler! The location is so convenient to where the 6670D arrives from Taichung (1 minute walk) and is located to close to many different restaurants and bike shops. The staff were very friendly and great at communicating. The room and its facilities were very clean and comfortable. Some recommendations: 明潭茶老爸 was great for dinner, pearl milk tea and shaved ice. Make sure to also check out 小米甜甜圈-日月潭水社 for the donuts!
