Merzouga Camp and Hostel

If you want to experience true Morroccan hospitality you need to meet the host Mohammed! We have stayed in the hostel and in the desert camp and the experience was so memorable, we felt like we became true friends with him:) Location of the hostel is great, even if you want to visit the desert and gardens on your own and the camp is deep in the desert not too close to other camps. The dinner and breakfasts were delicious and home made and we struggled to finish since there was so much food.😉�...

Un super séjour à Merzouga Camp, j'ai passé un très bon moment avec des activités cool à disposition. Le gérant est super, sympathique et très dévoué, l'organisation et la logistique sont faciles, je recommande vivement comme expérience !

We had a very pleasant stay in Merzouga and truly appreciated the hospitality of the host. He was extremely helpful, welcoming, and respectful, especially as we were traveling with a child. The place is traditional, clean, and well maintained, making it a comfortable choice for families. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the breakfast was very nice. It was just delightful to stay here. Everything was perfect, we felt very welcome and we got a lot of help to plan our trips. We would absolutely recommend to stay here.

We had a great time here! The hostel is lovely and clean with delicious free breakfast. The overnight trip to the desert was great fun and the dinner included was amazing! Muhammad was really helpful also, he helped us organise transport and activities to and from Merzouga :)

Increíble recibimiento por nuestro anfitrión Mohammed con té y dulces después de un largo viaje. Nos acomodó en una habitación privada con baño muy acogedora. Las dos mañanas recibimos desayuno completo (fruta, omelette, té, café…) buenísimo! Pudimos contratar directamente con el para actividades en el desierto increíbles!! Ha sido una experiencia inolvidable!!

We have been to Hostels in Chefchaouen and Fès before this but this was the best on our trip. Its beautifully located, really clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast is quite good aswell. The host is very kind and friendly. We also die the Dromeda-tour with overnight stay in the dunes; also great and always felt safe. Price-performance ratio top. Will visit again.

Najlepsza wycieczka i nocleg na Saharze. Bardzo czysto. Jedzenie - bardzo dużo i doskonałe. Dojazd wielbłądami w cenie.

Great place located right next to the desert. Excellent value for money and a really nice owner. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a good place in the desert with a comfy bed and a helpful owner. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at the camp however the next morning the breakfast was delicious and huge. And honestly the shower was super clean, hot and a wonderful treat after a night in the desert! Mohammed was very welcoming and I would highly recommend you stay at is hostel!

Mohammed was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. We played traditional music in the camp, met wonderful people and enjoyed great food and tea. Would definitely recommend.

We had a really nice stay here. Even though we were the only people at the hostel (travelled in low season) Mohammed made sure we had a great time! It was especially amazing that we could use our room before and after the camel tour.

Great and friendly host with an amazing place

Absolutely fantastic! We did the sunset and sunrise camel ride and stayed in the camp overnight. Staff are incredibly kind, friendly and very good people. Very enjoyable - thank you Merzouga camp for making this trip so memorable! 100% would recommend and would return.

Tour con cammelli e notte nel deserto organizzato in modo eccellente da un team molto giovane e affiatato offrendoci una cena squisita sotto una stellata meravigliosa. Mohamed, host dell'ostello, molto accogliente ci ha organizzato la mattina seguente una colazione ricca e buonissima. Quindi perfetto anche solamente per una breve permanenza di una notte in merzouga.

We had a very pleasant stay with my girlfriend at Sahara dunes. Since it's January, we were alone in the camp, enjoying once in a life experience. The stars, the berber music and then... the perfect silence.

everything was alright. Mohammed is a very nice person and when we needed to move the stay by one day, he did not solve anything and moved it by one day without fees. The young guys who took us on camels to the desert were nice and when I saw how they were all enthusiastic about what they were doing (music, work, etc.) I realized how beautiful the world is. Finally, we had a bonus experience and the fact that the boys and I got stuck with the car in the desert. I really recommend it. Thank you.

Super séjour chez dans le désert, Mohammed est d’une gentillesse incroyable, il nous a aidé à réserver un transport pour venir de Fès car le notre a été annulé au dernier moment. On a dormi dans les tentes dans les désert, avec le trajet en dromadaires, le repas était super bon, tout s’est vraiment très bien passé, Mohammed est très accueillant, Merci beaucoup c’était parfait !

Very nice host. The trip to the dessert was also very good organised. And just me, my partner and another guest. It felt as a private tour. Very good and kind people in the dessert who made a delicious meal for us!
