Great stay, I enjoyed my time there. Everyone was really friendly, and a very close walk to the gondola!

Kitzbuhel is an expensive place and it is super nice to have a hostel like snow bunnies to stay, but in this day and age this hostel is behind. It would be nice to have a better stove than two hot plates. The problem with this property is the owner he is rude and honestly sexist. I read the reviews before coming and expected this and saw his response to reviews where he said a joke is a joke. This is a backpacker-style hostel that attracts travellers looking to enjoy some snow and skiing. It has a prime location in the centre of the village, only a 7 min walk to and from the gondola. The hostel is clean, comfortable, and secure. There is a fully equipped kitchen with hot plates, a microwave and a toaster oven if you wish to cook your own meals. A self-service breakfast is provided and includes eggs, bread, cereal, yogurt and fruit. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

The hostel has a great location but does not feel particularly welcoming to the guests.

Super fun / whacky place to stay and ski. Location can't be beat, and the vibe is classic hostel in the best way. Only word of caution—prepare yourself for an unpredictable schedule of comic verbal sparring with the eccentric owner Dave (participation is mandatory)

I had so much fun in this place. By far, the most funniest Hostel I’ve been through. And believe me, I’ve been to a lot. Dave is such a character 👍😄

Das Snowbunnys hostel ist wirklich was ganz besonderes!

Went in the off season so I was one of three guests. Host is awesome and it is the perfect location for hiking.

Definitely recommend SnowBunnys. Great location, Dave was super friendly and accommodating. I was able to help myself to some fresh eggs andanything else I wanted for brekky. Only thing was not much atmosphere at this time of year, but I'd say it would be super happening in ski season.

SnowBunnys in Kitzbuhel enjoys an unique position in town and offers easy convenience to the main ski slope. My private room was everything that I required, although it would have been better if ensuite. The establishment has a quite eccentric feel with the owner being unrestrained in his views on the great topics of life! From the hostel it is just a short walk to sample the delights of this very beautiful town and to enjoy shopping, food and nice walks. Recommended for all on a budget.

Met the best people here! Definitely not a place for everyone though…

Perfect location, great atmosphere. Erika is a fantastic member of staff, Dave is a secret teddy bear with a dark sense of humour. Although things could definitely be cleaner/tidier in the common areas, the rooms were adequate. I felt super welcome and was lucky to meet some great people whilst staying there. Thank you so much for making it such a great trip

Horrible hostel. Filthy entrance with dank common room. Stuff everywhere. God knows who Dave is. We had a lovely lady greet us but some rude older male staff who swore in front of the kids. Only plus was bedroom. It was clean and large. Beds comfortable. I wouldn’t want my name associated with this hostel if I were Hostel world

A stone's throw from the historic old town this hostel is really well situated. I've stayed here a few times, I would imagine they get a lot of repeat custom, and the staff are always really helpful. By the way Dave, the owner, is actually from New Zealand though he identifies as Australian and should be addressed as such!

Nice place to stay. The host really makes you feel like you are at home. Visit this hostel if you want a fluffy bed to sleep and a fresh egg in the morning. Don't visit this place when you want a more clean hotel-like experience. This hostel is made for backpackers and animal lovers!
