This place truly feels like home! I’ve been warmly welcomed by staff and have enjoyed the comfortable living room (kotatsu!) and the well-equipped and beautiful kitchen. The beds are very spacious and there are only six of them in total, I believe. The best part was opening the curtain in front of my bed to the tranquil countryside neighborhood every morning. The only downside of the property is it’s being a bit out of the way (35 min on foot to the train station and about an hour to the „...

Truly, the best Hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly and lit a fire for me and an ausie. The perfect place to slow down for 2 nights, though I wish I had stayed 3 or 4. Free bikes to borrow, coffee, and a nice living area. Hey, me obsessed 🤩

A lovely guest house outside of the main town centre of Kawaguchiko. The hostel offers free bikes to use which is very useful as most things were a 10-15 bike ride away (apart from the 7-11 less than 1 minute away)! The location was peaceful and we preferred being out of the main tourist area. The guest house is calm and feels safe and homely. Would definitely recommend! Free tea coffee and snacks too!

Such a cosy hostel. The bike rental made for a lovely day out around the lake, and beautiful views of Fuji from every neighbouring street! Staff were so kind, giving recommendations for activities and food, and found all the guests to be sociable and very sweet! Beds were huge and so comfy. Wish I had stayed longer!

Such a relaxing place to stay. Super comfortable and clean, has everything you need. The staff were amazing and super helpful - going out of their way to make sure you had everything you needed. It’s a little bit of a way from the main train station and public transport isn’t amazing to the hostel but once you are there they have lots of bikes which makes getting around really easy! The kitchen was really well stocked and laid out and the garden area a really nice place to chill.

This was an outdated place, with very friendly and graceful staff, who made everything possible. The place is very comfortable, spotless clean and has a beautiful traditional japanese tearoom. Very recommended & will be coming back!

Excellent host, very accommodative and gave a plethora of good recommendations throughout my stay here. Location to the station is slightly far but there is a shuttle bus (Green Line Fuji Sightseeing Bus) that comes every hour from araround 9 to 5 if I recall correctly. Fantastic place to stay and will definitely come back if I come back to the vicinity.

I arrived here and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. This guest house was incredibly aesthetic and clean. The owners are a family who are such wonderful people. Sadly a storm came so I couldn’t climb mt. Fuji :( Key things: - Beds were clean and comfy - Cooking space and social areas were aesthetic, clean and really nice - Free bikes to cycle around are such a great idea! - Great Ramen places nearby, also a 7/11 (so useful) - The family were so friendly 10/10
