Hi, the hostel was really horrible. It was filthy and it smelt very bad . Toilets were very dirty / smelly , and showers. Some windows had no glass Kitchen dirty, people were smoking in there. There were no smoke alarms or fire escapes. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and we were scared lots of shouting / banging from next door apartments. Ilan was not helpful re deposit / key so we did not return for deposit as we felt uncomfortable . It was up 4 flights of dirty stairs with fli...

good hostel and a very nice owner

My friends and I stayed here for three nights and we had a window with a great view of the processions happening during semana santa. Ilan was also responsive and kind. The place seems to just be taken care by Ilan himself. The facilities are decent enough for you to have shower and cook a meal which is all you need if you’re backpacking for a cheap price. I truly enjoyed my time here and Ilan welcomed us warmly and was flexible with our check in and check out time.

Die Unterkunft war renovierungsbedürftig, zum Beispiel es waren alle Duschkopfhalterungen in der Dusche abgebrochen. Zudem war die Unterkunft sehr verdreckt und wurde im wahrscheinlich noch nie gründlich gereinigt @Hostelworld ich kann das mit Bildern belegen. Zudem wurde in der Küche geraucht. Die guten Bewertungen können zum teil nicht echt sein da darin zum Beispiel eine Klimaanlage erwähnt wird aber die Unterkunft keine besitzt.Ich werde Hostelworld wahrscheinlich nicht mehr nutzen.

The owner is lovely and the locations amazing but it's not clean at all. Showers kind of disgusting and had no water pressure. And our room had a blood stain in the corner. Scary. Also we didn't receive our full deposit back so I think it might be worth going for a slightly more expensive option. But I'd your just looking to save money it works.

Very nice little spot. Ilan is very welcoming, and the building is very pretty and in a super convenient location. Towels not provided, so bring your own (may seem obvious and I'm just silly).

It was very calm and spacious apartment with an old town charme, Ilan is a very cordial person. For cleanliness and special supplies, one has to look for oneself

It's like going back to the late 70's and early 80's. The beds are very noisy and round bars to the too bunk. In the summer this would be unbearable as no air conditioning. Only one shower had water coming out, also you had to hold it.cracks in the ceiling and walls.

No entiendo cómo se puede alquilar un apartamento en estas condiciones. Faltan ventanas, hay fisuras de varios centímetros en las paredes y el suelo parece inestable. Hemos visto chinches y hasta un ratón. Una de las duchas no tiene agua caliente y el baño desprende un olor desagradable. Además, el check-out depende completamente de la disponibilidad del propietario, que nos devolvió la fianza saliendo de la ducha, con solo una toalla.

Il n ya pas de places pour assurer nos bagages pas d armoires. exiguite des chambres.cuisines manquant de plusieurs commodités. Le monsieur en charge de l hotel est sage toutefois.

Cheap, dirty, noisy and uncomfortable, but very cheap!

It is not a good place, I stayed one night because I had to, it is not clean and it is very noisy, you can never sleep, there is a noise from the street, also I wanted to leave my luggage and the staff just He said he could stay until 5 PM, but I wanted to pick up my luggage at 6 PM. He was definitely not understanding and wanted cash on top of that. It's definitely not worth the money.

Very satisfied with our stay. The owner was very nice, place was cozy and quiet. Bars, restaurants and shops near. Thank you!

The hostel is way overpriced for not having AC. Was very hot and not that clean. You have to pay in cash so I had to go to the ATM before getting my keys. Other cleaner and nicer hostels were cheaper so I switched after 1 night. Others did the same. Ilan seems like a good guy and I believe he is doing everything there himself but wouldn't recommend staying here.

If you're looking for somewhere to sleep and nothing else, this is perfect. It's essentially a bedsit rather than a hostel. I was in Málaga for one night to get a train early the next morning, so it fit my needs well. If I were staying here for a few days, I would choose a somewhere else to stay.
