Yellow House Hostel

Easy walk from metro station, really nice and helpful staff, good value overall. The lockers in the dorms are small and they only have a couple bathrooms for the whole hostel and only one shower but the shower had great pressure and hot water. Totally fine for a short stay.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à medellin. Hostel juste à côté d’une station de métro et dans un quartier très safe. Nous avions une chambre privé avec deux très bons lits. L’ambiance était très conviviale et les hôtes toujours à notre service. La cuisine était bien équipée.

This was a great place to stay for a short trip. It has everything you could need. It’s 2 blocks from metro, has a few decent restaurants nearby, ARA & D1 are around the corner, 1 stop via metro from stadium, it has hot water, very laidback atmosphere, staff is nice and helpful, and all the utensils you would need to cook. The only cons are there is only one shower so it can be a wait most mornings unless you wake up early. Not alot of variety with restaurants. Small spaces throughout.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in dit hostel! Sowieso was de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding top, fijne sfeer, de liefste host en het ligt net aan het randje van het dorp, dus een oase van rust, maar wel slechts een kwartiertje lopen naar het centrum. Als je aan het rondreizen bent is dit zeker een aanrader!!

Un hôtel à taille humaine tenu par un personnel tout simplement adorable. Par ailleurs l'hôtel dispose d'un jardin et d'une terrasse pour passer des moments conviviaux ou faire du sport, la cuisine est vraiment bien équipée et les prix plus que corrects. Je recommande chaudement !

J’avais réservé une chambre privée avec deux lits simples, elle n’avait pas de fenêtres et j’entendais des gens à côté comme s’ils étaient dans la pièce. Quand je suis arrivée du linge était en boule sur le canapé de l’entrée ce qui ne fait pas bonne impression. Mes draps n’avaient pas été préparés. Les espaces communs sont tout petits et il est donc difficile de socialiser. Par contre le quartier est très sympa

The Host was incredibly unfriendly. Make sure you avoid this Hostel! The beds had no curtains, it was loud and hard to sleep. They will try to rip you off. The only good thing about the hostel was the shower.

Great hostel! Chill and family home vibe. Desiree and Raul are kind and welcoming hosts and there is always someone around to let you in/out and if you need anything. The place is very clean, with places to sit and hang-out inside and outside. I met some nice people there. Very convenient for the metro! I was very happy with my private room! Thank you

Great Hostel. Quiet, peaceful, good for digital nomads or older travellers. Neighbourhood felt safe to walk alone at night. One of the few hostels I’ve stayed at in Latin America whose showers had BOTH hot water and good water pressure. My only suggestion is that they should offer single-use laundry detergent for sale to use with the machine.

Fantastic hostel. The owners were really nice and the hostel has a good vibe. We met nice people there and the area is nice too.

For me, this hostel was perfect. The staff and the guests were all very nice and respectful. The staff especially was very caring for me and my belongings. The place was always clean. It was a cozy and relaxing place to stay. Also, the metro was just a minute’s walk away, and it was a nice walk through a beautiful park too. The area around Parque La Floresta was my favorite place to go for dinner and coffee in the evenings, and is a very short walk away. I would definitely stay here again.

Great staff. Super kind & 100% clean & safe. Location is in a safe residential neighborhood so you need to transport to get anywhere of interest to tourists.

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment dans cet hostel. Le personnel est plus qu’accueillant, les chambres et espaces communs sont propres et l’hostel est bien situé, proche des commerces. Nous recommendons vivement !!!

Ottimo ostello, molto tranquillo, con reception 24/7, cucina, un bel giardino e posizione ottima vicino alla fermata della metro

For being a hostel, this place is the best you can get. You feel like you’re at home. It was the most affordable i could find in Medellin area without going really far out of the city. This is located right next to Floresta Metro Station which is one stop away from Estadio. The bed is really comfortable. Each bed comes with its own fan. Place is usually empty and quiet after 12pm checkout so if you work this is a great place. I cooked a few times, great stuff. Recommend 10/10.

Das Personal war sehr nett und die Lage sehr komfortabel. In 2 Min ist man an der Metrostation und am nächsten Supermarkt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber.

Brilliant hostel, feels very homey with comfy beds and a friendly vibe. Had power ports and a fan for each bed in my dorm. Not overly social as it is a small hostel but the way it is laid out makes it easy to socialise and meet the people who are staying there. Really clean and has a well equipped kitchen. All the staff were really friendly and very accomodating. Great value for money!

Gute Lage (nahe an der Metro) und freundliches Personal. Ansonsten eine eher einfache Unterkunft.

Nice cheap hostel in a very plesant but not vibrant neighborhood in floresta. Basic facilities and the place was always clean.
