IT HAD BED BUGS whatever you do, do not stay here unless you want to be eaten alive. the worst part was the staff didn’t even seem surprised and instead of apologising offered me a different bed in the same room, and omg more bed bugs. however upon fleeing, we were offered a refund for the rest of our stay.

Hostel Looks very cute and has a nice view but one girl in my room had bed bugs . The staff took care of it and moved all of us to a different room but was a bit of a pain to deal with. Also the dorm doors don’t have a key and my locker also didn’t work. Not super social place but big kitchen. The staff is only there sporadically when cleaning. Bathrooms smelled a bit. I was told on my first day that the pool is free for us to use, then the second day we weren’t allowed to use it any ...

I love Kotor. This place was really nice and did everything that we needed. My locker was broken but I was able to use my friends’. It’s right next to a beach and walking distance to Old Town. They take the quiet hours very seriously.

Perfectly situated (old town is 3-4 minutes walk away, begining of the ladder of Kotor is 5-6 min walk away), clean, balcony with a great view on the bay (perfect to read or eat a meal), perfect kitchen, supermarket and shopping center across the street

Decent overall! The bathroom facilities were a bit difficult to use. There is nowhere to put your stuff in the shower when showering, and the showers and toilets (e.g., changing stalls) are separate, so that was a bit cumbersome. The hosts were nice and accommodating with my late check-in, though, and the balcony is very nice!

Genuinely one of my favourite hostels I’ve stayed at. Recieved such a warm welcome with super helpful staff. The location is excellent, right next to the beach and also super close to shops and old town. The rooms and toilets were clean and looked nice, and an amazing balcony with a view of the sea. Recommend to anyone coming to Kotor!

Great location and very clean inside. There’s a balcony with a great view of the water and mountains where I loved eating breakfast in the mornings. I also felt very safe my entire stay. It was sometimes difficult to communicate with the manager in English but she was very sweet and kind and pleasant to be around. The only downside for me were the showers — there are no places to hang or place things in the showers. The hooks are on the outside of the door.

It is in a great central location. The building itself is well maintained and clean. I like that they have multiple bathrooms but I don’t like that they have zero shelf space for you to set anything in or outside the shower or around the sinks.

Absolutely LOVED this hostel and my stay!! The experience I had there was just what I needed to make my trip feel like a true vacation. The staff I interacted with were all so friendly, the hostel felt so clean, and I felt so welcomed and secure. I will stay here every time I come to Kotor!!

Excellent hostel, very helpful manager. Location is just close enough to old town and very close to beach. Would stay again

The kitchen was the worst one I’ve ever seen. Not equipped at all, was sooo annoying to even cook pasta. other than that a lot of showers and toilets that are actually clean which we LOVE ! also location is perfect

A beautiful small hostel in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. cheaper compared to other hostels in the area. check in staff are very friendly. beds are comfortable and rooms have AC. would definitely stay here again

Guesthouse STEP was in a perfect location, overlooking the water and directly next to one of the few public beaches. The place was always very clean and the staff were very friendly. Although it was not especially social, it was a peaceful and nice stay.

An incredible view over the bay from the hostel, so nice sitting out on the balcony - really lucky experience for a hostel! The place is always clean, the cleaner works so hard and is always so polite. Close by to the two main supermarkets.

This is I guess one of the cleanest hostel I have been to. Every time I use the common toilet and shower, it is always clean. Im very much impressed about the cleanliness. The location is really central to just right next to a public beach and the balcony has such a great view. If you want a quiet hostel, this place is for you. This may not be a social hostel like others who have activities everyday to do but at least you get to relax here when you get home after a long day.

Not very social but right next to the beach which was nice! Everything was pretty modern but I wish there was a common area to meet people .

Lovely and clean hostel with a beautiful view over the bay. The owner was always very nice and helpfull. Maybe not easiest to meet other backpackers, but I would go to Old Town Hostel and just join there events without staying there and saved a ton of money this way!
