Glen Nevis Youth Hostel

It was rather quiet but perfect for me. The rooms are big, the showers are clean and the kitchen was well equipped. perfect place to stay after a hike!

What a fantastic stay, beginning with a warm reception, to clean and cosy accommodation, with excellent all round facilities.

Could not fault this hostel! Amazing location obviously - got a great view of Ben Nevis from my bed in my room. The kitchen was huge and spacious with lots of storage space. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave some great walking recommendations. They have a fireplace in the main communal area, but unfortunately it was not in use during my stay. Would happily stay here again, and would highly recommend staying here to anyone coming through Glen Nevis.

Loved my stay. It was so cozy, quiet, and clean. The people at reception were so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and everything was clean. I loved how spacious the private bathrooms were as well. Only thing is you have to pay for towels and washing your clothes in their laundry room is very expensive.

l'emplacement de l'auberge est magnifique et donne accès à de nombreuses randonnées, les chambres et salles de bains sont grandes, je vous conseille cette auberge. Toutefois l'ambiance n'était pas au rendez vous, beaucoup de personnes âgées, plutôt auberge de vieillesse...

A good location but not good value when compared to other similar establishments. Clean and tidy. Obnoxious jobs worth receptionist who obviously felt in a position of power rather than a position of assistance. The two day staff the following morning were helpful and polite.

Fantastic hostel, easy check-in, superb facilities and a lovely feel to the place. We stayed one night and would have been happy to spend more time here. The only very small downside is the distance from the town of Fort William, approximately 3 miles. We had bikes, so didn't cause a problem for us.

Good location of you want to hike. Helpful staff. Nice that you can buy breakfast for around 5 pounds per person (including coffee!). Would have been nice with an electric vehicle charger.

We loved the hostel, thank you for a great stay! One suggested improvement (from my 8yo son!) would be add a ping-pong table. We were here for the Royal National Mòd, great to stay slightly outside FW town centre.

If you are planning to climb Ben Nevis, this is the place. The trail starts right from the hostel front door. Hostel is very clean. Facilities are basic but to a good standard. Great vibes.

Love love loved this hostel. The staff was beyond nice. There were lots of travelers passing through so the atmosphere was very lively. The facilities were some of the cleanest I’ve experienced. 10/10 all around would book this hostel again and again.

Excellent hostel … the best I have stayed at.

Clean, modern, well equipped. A bit far from public transportation. Not a "cheap" as one would expect for dorm style lodging and minimal service provided. Having said that, the beds were comfortable and bedding is provided as well as bedside outlet and a light.
