Dream Ville

Ich bin zwei Nächte geblieben. Die Lage ist weiter außerhalb aber das war auch genau der Grund warum ich das Hostel gebucht habe. Die Aussicht vom Dorm war unglaublich und die ruhige Athmosphäre war großartig. Die Besitzer des Hostels waren super nett und zuvorkommend. Würde es jedem empfehlen.

A very beautiful place surrounded by nature – falling asleep and waking up right in the middle of the jungle. The staff and the family running the place are really welcoming. The hike through the local village is absolutely stunning and refreshingly off the typical tourist paths. What you should know: make sure to coordinate your arrival with the hostel in advance, as it can be quite difficult to reach.

Nicest owner ever! Two people from our group were sick and she helped us arranged a medical appointment and made a homemade remedy!!! Apart from being a bit away from the city, this is the perfect place if you want to chill and be in contact with nature! A transport to the city was always available for us, for a fee of course, but whenever we needed it! Also a lot of activities they offered!

The most amazing hostel with stunning views, absolute chill vibe and the kindest family. You will want to extend your stay so keep your plans free :)

Absolutely beautiful location with amazingly friendly staff, but it is very far out of the way on an incredibly difficult road. If you book the dorm you really don’t get a bed; you get an incredibly thin pad that’s just like on the floor, so it’s basically like elevated camping. Views are great though, and the staff were lovely.

Stunning place and such a friendly host!

One of the most beautiful hostel I stayed ! It is in the middle of nowehere, about 30-40min drive from the center (they offer tuktuk & jeep at a cost) but perfect for a retreat if you are looking to recharge. The breakfast was amazing too and the staff is so friendly!

Location: Absolutely stunning views, but very remote from Ella. Getting back at night can be difficult. The steep, rough road means you have pay 500 LKR for the hostel’s tuk-tuk to get out. Atmosphere: Lots of communal spaces and a shared breakfast that makes it easy to meet people. Cleanliness: Okay overall, but several toilets weren’t working on arrival, often no toilet paper or hand soap, and ants in bins. Facilities: 3 bathrooms, but only one shower with hot water and very low pressur...

We had the best time in this beauftiful hostel. The view is breathtaking and the hostel is a real piece of art. The owners are so sweet and helpful and we enjoyed the delicious good there. A big YES.

The catchphrase „come as a guest, leave as family“ is the perfect description of our stay at dream ville. The owners are such a lovely family, they make everything for you possible just ask and you‘ll find out. They’re amazing. The food was always tasty & more than enough. Absolute lovely! My favourite hostel in Sri Lanka so far. The View is amazing, so ist the staff and every detail is made with love.

Have you ever met someone that was compulsively creative? Like they just could not go through life with constantly creating art? That’s Sham, who basically created this place, alongside her family, from pure imagination and will. This hostel is the real deal. The location is not exactly convenient , it takes half an hour to get there from Ella, and local tuktuks sometimes won’t take you the last 700 meters or so down the rough steep road, but when you get there, a true paradise

It was a dream to be at dreamville! Such a nice view on the mountains when you wake up. When it's not cloudy, you see a nice sunset aswell. It's nice to hike into the mountains, an to the secret waterfalls. Beautiful place, I will totally recommend this place if you're searching for a quiet, non-touristic place to stay.

Their motto: come as a guest and leave as family comes absolutely true. The family that is handling the hostel did everything for a perfect stay.

Amazing! I loved it here. The place is unbelievably beautiful - it felt like I was at a fancy retreat. Loved being able to wake up to the sun rising on the mountains. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is one of the cleanest I’ve seen in Sri Lanka - despite being outside which is great. The owner is kind & helpful. The food is great and not overpriced at all. I would definitely stay here again! The only thing that’s a negative is the road to get there is very bumpy and old.

The host was very nice, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The toilets were clean, and the overall aesthetics were appealing. They offered welcome drinks, including beer, and there was a lively party atmosphere in the evening with great music playing. The breakfast varied each day and was plentiful; we couldn't even finish it all! They also provided dinner at a much cheaper price than local restaurants, and the dinner spread was impressive. We could walk to a waterfall in about 40 min

Amazing scenery. You really can’t beat this place for the view and the nature. Amazing staff. Great food. Location is quite tough though.
