Bed sheets had burn holes in them. Bathroom did not look or feel clean and the shower did not work properly. Everyone who stays here is doing trek the Himalayas so they leave at 6am. I would not stay here again. They charge way too much for what you get. Many better/cleaner hostels in the area.

Spontrail is situated in the centre of the neighbourhood, close to restaurants, yoga schools etc. The staff was helpful (suggesting restaurants/ help to rent a scooter), and flexible (leaving luggage after checkout). The rooftop area is exceptional, providing a wide view. The hostel is basically along the main road, which causes noise. Earplugs at night solved this. Also occasional nightly noise from people in a party-ish mood. Laundry service available. Very affordable pricing (500 rp). Thanks!

I've had an amzing stay at this hostel and have come back multiple times, you will be well looked after by the amazing staff here, and can enjoy a very clean dorm! Thank you everyone at Spontrail for such an awesome space!

Super Lage. Wir hatten ein schönes helles Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Beides hätte sauberer sein können. Freundliches Personal, nur haben sie versucht für verschiedene Dinge Gebühren zu erheben, welche nicht abgesprochen waren. Wenn man jedoch standhaft ist kann man diesen extra Kosten aus dem Weg räumen. Es gibt eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Es herrscht keine Backpacker Hostel Atmosphäre. Man kann seine Wäsche umsonst waschen! Grundsätzlich habe. Wir uns wohl gefühlt

We had live music which was super awesome! An amazing Vibe. We had beer which was great as it's hard to come by in rishikesh. The hosts were friendly and kind. Toilets can bt cleaner. The folks at the kitchen need to be more helpful. The guys at the reception need to be aware to share the wifi password and other information since there is no Lift. Its impossible to walk up and down for every single thing. They need a water dispenser at every floor not just at the reception.
