Mio Hostel

In a bit of a sketchy location, not the most fun atmosphere. Common areas are clean and beds are comfy. Bathrooms could be cleaner and more of them.

don't recommend staying here. costs money as other hostels but you don't get towels (in others you do) and the sound of passing trains from the train tracks is very loud, and the building itself is shaking.

Punti deboli: ascensore che puzza di sudore, tanti uomini poche donne, soprattutto nell'area comune dove si mangia, fanno casino ed è disagiante. La receptionist che mi ha domandato se ho rubato io i tappetini del bagno, solo perchè sono la persona che è stata di più nella camerata, invece di domandarlo alla signora del letto B che aveva letteralmente due lenzuoli, uno utilizzato...

The Staff was nice and the location is good, the only thing there is that you habe to go through some sort of passage to get to the hostel from the metro station which could be a bit sketchy at night. The room was spacious but I don‘t unterstand why the hostel doesn‘t hang up any curtains since there‘s a railing installed in the beds. The sheet situation was a bit weird but fine. What bothered us was the condition of the whole place, it was cleaned but just not well maintained.

Staff was accommodating, was able to leave bags before check in and after check out, was able to check in an hour early, and was given a 4 person dorm for me and 3 others even though we booked 6 person dorms separately.

Our stay was the definition of 'okay'. The room was the cheapest we could find in Milan, but still quite expensive in comparison to the rest of Italy. It was clean, but had a weird atmosphere because the building is quite sterile, seems like a former workshop or sth, with a very high ceiling which elevates sounds/voices in a weird way. So it was quite loud in there. They have a common area and you can see that they really try to offer some possibilities. All in all it was, as I said, okay.

loved it got a free upgrade to a smaller girls room from a big mixed gender

For the price that you paid the hostel don’t have kitchen. The shower wasn’t working properly , they don’t have lift in the entrance if you have big suitcases or for a person with wheelchair is not appropriate. Overall the service of cleaning was good .

I only stayed there for one night and for that it was totally alright. Close to the Metro and the beds are comfortable.

It was a pleasure staying in Mio Hostel. They took care of even the smallest problems in a prompt and professional manner. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to meet some really nice people. The entire staff is very helpful especially the manager ensured I had no troubles during my stay!
