The hostel was empty, no kitchen available, the receptionist didn't know I was coming and would come in every morning to wake me up without permission and then disappear for the rest of the day. Bleak.
Not many plugs in the room, not by the bed. Only two toilets one without lock, one shower shared male/female You can hear the sounds from outside
Check in experience was poor. I had to provide all info, docs etc via email as the woman was going home before I arrived. then when I arrived a man who didn't speak any English made me go through it all over again, while having a terrible attitude including clearly talking badly about me to other guests in Italian. if you cannot handle English speaking guests you should make that clear so we can just avoid this awful place. I am very sorry that I was not able to speak Italian for you.
ATTENTION ! A Fuir !!
A very nice place to stay in Enna.
Great stay, Enna is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The hostel is quiet (part of a B&B), but the host is very kind, generous, and chatty (if you speak Italian). Beyond doubt, you must watch a sunset from the Rocca (free!). A day trip out to the Roman villa is worth it for the mosaics. (Note: Travel here is much easier with a car, but I made it around on the bus, with some effort. Do not use Google Maps, but search/call the individual bus company for timetables or head to the b...
