Bathrooms were dirty, beds were uncomfortable, rooms were not air conditioned properly, but the staff were nice, the location was fair, but the value for money was far from acceptable.
The sheets wear dirty on the beds but the staff was very helpful.
L'Alessandro Palace è perfetto per chi ha voli all'alba: vicinissimo a Termini, permette di raggiungere l'aeroporto in un attimo. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e molto accogliente. La camerata mi ha stupita: era molto ampia, spaziosa e pulita. Un'ottima scelta a Roma per comodità e igiene, lo consiglio vivamente!

My stay here has been great. The location is amazing, and it’s a really good value for the price. Special shoutout to Owens, who was incredibly kind and helpful and even helped me sort everything out when I messed up my reservation.
Soggiorno perfetto! 🎒 Per il mio viaggio di lavoro ho scelto una camerata femminile a due passi da Termini e mi sono sentita super sicura e a mio agio. Camera spaziosa, staff adorabile e una cucina in comune top per risparmiare! 🍝 Si respira un bellissimo vibe internazionale. Questa volta lavoravo, ma al prossimo giro a Roma ci torno di sicuro per divertirmi!
All different ages there. Bathroom were clean when I was there, just spent one night before my flight out.
Todo bien, el lugar es hermoso! La ubicación en termini lógicamente no es lo mejor del mundo pero tampoco es que es peligroso en si, está bien por el precio. Recomiendo
Solid accommodation for someone going backpacking. Also nice location for being in Rome as many sights are accessible from the hostel. Did not spend a lot of time in the hostel, used it mostly for sleeping, therefore I may not be optimal to talk about the facilities. Kind receptionists helped with any uncertainties, so that made me feel welcome.
The location of the hostel was convenient as was the room size and cleanliness. They have 24 hour check-in which is REALLY REALLY convenient.The only small inconvenience I noted was there was just one bathroom in the hallway shared by 15+ people. One bathroom was out of order when I checked in, so maybe that caused a bit more rush on the remaining one washroom
As uni students on a budget, my partner and I booked a private room here for my birthday. It was clean, spacious, and exactly what we needed. The staff are absolute stars✨. They recommended and booked a brilliant local dinner for my special night. I had the most memorable birthday in Rome thanks to them. Baie dankie to the team for the incredible service! 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Alessandro Palace perfectly captures the bustling la dolce vita energy near Termini. The area boasts stylish trattorias, while my dorm was spacious and clean with massive windows welcoming the Roman breeze during the day. It’s a lively spot, so expect typical hostel noise, but my educated roommates made it great. The bar's electric weekend vibe is ideal for a cin cin with fellow travelers!
Very close to the train station, perfect to drop the bags (free on check in, 2€ for 12 hours on self service lockers on check out), a bit far from the center, but easy to reach with bus. Super nice staff

I stayed for 3 nights in this hostel. As a woman in the mixed room, I was slightly worried but felt safe when I got there. The staff was very kind and helpful with all my questions. It was clean, the kitchen was functional with two cooking plates and a microwave. The only downside was that the showers and toilets are in the same room so after showering, the toilet floor was wet, and there's not much space to put your clothes while showering. Best vibes in Rome! The bar has great prices and fun events. I met awesome people there. My room was surprisingly large and spotless. If you want a clean, lively spot that won't break the bank, stay at Alessandro Palace. Everything was top-tier and I’m totally satisfied. Highly recommend!
Good location right next to YellowSquare Hostel Rome, which makes it easy to join their social events and activities. However, YellowSquare is noticeably better in terms of comfort and atmosphere. This place works if you’re trying to save money but still want access to a more social hostel nearby. That said, the beds are quite small, there are no privacy curtains, and many beds don’t have power outlets, which makes the stay less comfortable overall, things were clean here
Very good value for what I paid. Seems like a pretty flexible about being social or not. The facilities pretty nice, and the location isn’t bad.
Staff members were nice enough but the fees (storing luggage, towels) were a bit ridiculous. The spaces themselves were a little dirty and had smells (bathroom especially). Location was great if you’re taking trains but otherwise you’re very far from nearly everything. I am very glad we were only there for one night because I wouldn't have been able to go through another night of that.
