This family were lovely. I would stay here again though the property was basic. They also had súper air conditioning!
It’s a family’s house that doesn’t really feel a hostel. It felt like a place that you would stay while couch surfing, but instead you’re paying a lot of money to sleep here. No door on the bathroom, the common area is messy, the atmosphere is uncomfortable. We canceled our second night with them and found another place instead.
Not an actual hostel. Would absolutely NOT recommend. There were a lot of stains on the bedsheet, and there is no door to the toilet. The place was very dirty in general. The checkout is at 11 and not at 14 as mentioned in the description. The only positive thing is that it is close to the beach.
I ended up staying here for a month all in all! I had a lovely time, it was nice to live and breath the culture! I can't recommend this place enough, the family were lovely, kind and hospitable, and the location was great, also it was a great value for money!
would not recommend, it is basically a side room in a family house. the room by itself is nice, has a good bed and an AC, but bathroom is basically behind a curtain outside, there ia know running water all day (you need to open a shalter outside). the owner suggested me to shower in a bucket when there was no running water. and worse for me- there is a few chickens just outside the room, who won't shut up all night (03:00-07:00 AM) so it was really hard trying to sleep there
Para nosotros, esto no es un hostal segun los estandares de hostelworld! Es un cuarto privado en el terren de una familia. El aire acondicionado no funciona bien. No hay luz en baño y ducha, ambos son a cubetazos. Hay aguas estancadas en el patio (potencial para enfermedades!). La playa queda a 15 min a pie. La cocina es una estufa en el patio. Los perros pasan por todos lados. El precio no corresponde al servicio.
its basically the house of very nice people. but I did not feel comfortable sleeping because of the heat and lack of proper AC or fans
The owner is sweet. The address on Hostelworld was incorrect at that time, but he picked up us. But the “hostel” is basically a room in his backyard. The toilet was not working, the shower was not working and his solution was to shower with rain water.🤔 The WiFi did work, and there was an AC but I barely worked and was very loud. The location is at night time a very dark 15 min walk from center. But if you are looking for somewhere to keep you out of rain I’d recommend this place.
