Best hostel in El Tunco, easily.

The 10 man dorm is horrible and cramped and dirty, unbearably loud music. Over $20 for a tiny cramped dorm, complete rip off. They take a $20 cash deposit?! It seems like all they care about is money, but not about customer service or basic cleanliness. And there was no one around to give back our deposit in the morning despite being told there would be. We were told by the morning staff that we hadn’t given a deposit and they knew nothing about it. Awful system awful place. Highly disappointe...

Amazing! Could have stayed there for one month! A very lovely and happy atmosphere! Great spirit!

I came on a Saturday night to Dos Palmos and was instantly apart of beautifully wild time. The location is conveniently placed with a small walk to everywhere you’d need to be by the beach. Staff and ownership are full of smiles and kindness and I felt my items were safe and respected. Would definitely come back and recommend this spot to anyone wanting a fun time in El Salvador. Although a famous party Hostel, quiet hours were respected past 11 and I was able to get good rest every night.

Dorms are overcrowded, toilet leaked constantly, flooding the bathroom, you had to walk through toilet leakage to shower & staff ignored it. The room was filthy on arrival, with old cans, food waste, and thick dust left sitting for ages. Multiple guests reported theft including large sums of money, all of my shoes were taken and later found in cleaners area, not lost property which sadly feels suspicious. I had a great time at the hostel, the structure was great, the place is clean, the location amazing. The only problem was when the whole hostel ran out of water, but it was solved fast. The volunteers were really nice, specially Amilcar, who was always nice and helpful

An okay hostel overall, but the private room bathroom left a lot to be desired. I never felt clean after showering. The atmosphere was lacking too, with the pool area silent all day and only one brief 10-minute game one night to get people chatting. Good location, but the pool was very dirty. Check-in was poor, with an uninterested volunteer, and no one replied on WhatsApp when I messaged to say we might be 30 minutes late, which could easily have left us stranded. Free coffee is nice.

Les lits sont bien. Les échelles devraient être fixés; elles font beaucoup de bruit. C’est un hôtel de party et quand tu te réveilles à 7h, tu le constates em voyant des déchets traîner partout!

The capsule was nice. But in general a party hostel. The quiet hours were from 23pm-7am, and not even then it was really quiet. They startet playing really loud music around 8. They did a check in at 23:30 in a really loud way that woke everyone up. Pool is nice though and the bed comfortable.

A nice place to stay for a few night. They messed up my booking and double booked my room for the last night but upgraded me to a deluxe private for a night so I was quite pleased with that, wasn’t too happy that they moved my stuff without me there or asking me though! Otherwise nice. Distinct lack of security as anyone can walk into the hostel and any room. Otherwise nice, sociable and relatively well located.

Really nice hostel, rooms were good with good privacy. The staff were all really nice and helpful. Good facilities too, I'd defo reccomend.

CAN RECOMMEND. Dos palmos helped med get over my divorce. Not only did i find good friends, beautiful views and fun activities… I found myself. Hidden between the lush gardens and beatiful arcitecture was a piece of my forgotten childhood. Ive been sobbing for ages but I dont need my wife any more. Thank you for everything🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Great atmosphere! The pool made it a great central meeting place for hanging out or making friends with others. On the weekends everyone goes out to the beach clubs in a big group. The hostel also pairs with other hostels nearby for bar crawls. Although it’s a super fun vibe, it’s not loud late at night. Highly recc!

This place is fine if you want an air conditioned room with a comfy bed. The ac works great and the sheets are soft. There’s no comforter on the bed, just sheets which was odd. Total party hostel, so if that’s not your vibe then don’t book here. The bathroom in our private room was not very clean and the room itself was sort of bleak. The pool was nice, and it’s close to all the restaurants and beach.

This hostel is the perfect mix of high-energy social vibes and actual comfort. If you want a place that feels like a community rather than just a bed, this is it.

Good location - walking distance to beach and shops/restaraunts, kept very clean, and the pool is great+clean. Very social and easy to make friends. There are weekly social events to meet people and go out to the bars as well. Would definitely stay here again!
