Avoid, DON'T stay here if you're arriving at night, they don't even have anyone at the front desk waiting for you. I arrived around 9ish, the lights outside the hostel were off and I kept knocking for anyone to come but apparently they don't have a receptionist for the night shift they won't even bother to have anyone 24 hours in case of emergency or if you're arriving at night. Worst experience, I had to rebook at Hospedarte which I truly recommend, don't waste your money or your time. AWFUL!!

I booked a two-night female dormitory at Hostelworld. When I arrived, not only was the room different, but I was given a mixed dormitory. The room was very dirty and smelly because it was past 10 p.m. I couldn't go out to look for another room temporarily, so I was forced to stay. As a result, my whole body was bitten by insects, which was extremely itchy and uncomfortable. My feet were particularly bad. Now they are very swollen and I'm currently in the hospital

Pésima experiencia. Desde que cambiaron de admin no hay gente en recepción qué por cierto el espacio ni eso lo tienen, antes había una cafetería al lado y era recepción. honestly the 6.1 reviews are about correct. the place hasn’t been cleaned in months… maybe years even :) but I will play devils advocate and tell you the PROS: 1- best location (good hood), go visit Comala Cafe for breakfast like three blocks away. 2- the checkin process was really quick, they accept cards and they dont keep and ID for the towel rental. 3- as opposed to most hostels were people are very loud and partying, at this place you can actually sleep! its super quiet. enjoy ;)

Buen lugar por la ubicacion

The one good thing is the staff are friendly. They don't have free breakfast or free bikes like they advertised. Never had toilet paper or soap in the bathrooms. Overall the place is pretty dirty. The door to our private room didn't lock and you could easily push it open which is why we didn't feel safe.

The friendly and helpful staff were the highlight. But the hostel lacked basics, like drinking water, and soap in the bathrooms. It was also generally pretty dirty. There's no real reason to stay here when there are better options in the city for 10 extra pesos.

Overall, good value for 8 bucks in Mexico. But I’ve had better hostel for cheaper in Europe. Location and staff were good! Not a clean hostel. Photos don’t match anymore. The facilities are going down hill, they need to fix some stuff and hold a standard of cleanliness for their guests and volunteers

The hostel was absolutely filthy and had mould everywhere. The bed had brown stains everywhere. We changed our minds before the first night and booked another place to stay. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but this was really the worst ever. There were also almost no people, so there was no good vibe at all. If you are looking for the cheapest hostel in Guadalajara here you are, if you're looking for the dirtiest here you are too. I have been traveling for the last 12 months all around south east Asia, India and Egypt. Always choosing the cheapest hostel. I'm very easy going and adaptable, but when is to much is to much. This hostel is ridiculous dirty and no one cares about. The dormitory, Toilet, shower and the carpet on the stairs haven't been cleaned since months, it's disgusting.

Stayed in this hostel for the first time but I don't think I will stay here again. The staff was amazing but the place itself needs a facelift. Its an old building with old carpet and a lot of mold on the ceilings and walls. The cleaning was also not the best. Location was good but the construction on that street doesnt help. Next time I will just invest more on a different place. Some new decor and good cleaning would help this place!

The most disgusting Hostel we have ever been. First of all, Check-In was way too complicated and staff not helpful. Hostel overall dirty. Kitchen and bathrooms were gross and in the dorm the lockers are broken and the Toilet next to our bed was full of s*** and stank to the room. In the dorm next to us A staff member was singing loud to music after 23 pm. Asked him to stop, answered he won't cause he didn't have headphones.in the night I caught him, trying to steal from us. got into a big fight

I've stayed here more than once, and I will keep staying because the breakfast is good, staff nice, beds comfortable, price makes up for flaws. Do not stay here if you care a lot about cleanliness, as it's shockingly dirty, especially in the female dorm bathroom (flooding in the shower due to bandaids and hair in the drain, cleaning powder left on the toilet seat for days by staff, etc.). There are no outlets in room, so bring your phone to breakfast to charge. Avoid the toxic old American drunk

Super cheap hostel, I was super impressed with how cheap it was. The location is GREAT, in one of the best and more expensive neighborhoods in Guadalajara. I stayed in a Female dorm for 6 days! The room has 4 beds for the whole time there was just me and another girl. There's not hot water at this place so it was kind of a shame not being able to have a proper shower .
