Hostel Climbing Point

I stayed at this hostel for a whole week, it was only supposed to be one day but I kept extending I loved it that much! The hostel is really nice and chilled and it’s a great value for money! Omar the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met he treats you like family! I got really sick and he took me to hospital and made sure I was okay I am very grateful for his kindness. Would highly recommend this hostel :)

Très contents de notre séjour dans cet hostel! Assez rustique mais très calme et pratique. Les services de location de matériel et les excursions proposées sont très peu chers et vraiment bien. Le petit déjeuner est basique mais nourrissant avec 2 options. Yessica est très sympathique et a toujours cherché à nous aider ce qui est très agréable.

Very basic hostel. No water station which would have been greatly appreciated. Waited over an hour to check in and would be lovely to have a more chilled communal area not just the kitchen. Not much atmosphere and hostel quite out of the centre which worked well for us but could be more tricky for others

Amazing place! Super good value for money. Very helpful staff. Stunning view from the upstairs kitchen/dinning place. Breakfast is simple and small but perfect for what you get. We would love to have stayed longer.

Very cheap and simple accommodation. There are many offers for lagoon hikes at the hostel, which are all very fair. The staff is super friendly, especially the lady who freshly prepared the breakfast. There is a kitchen on the roof terrace, which you can also use. From there, you have views of very beautiful sunsets. I would come back again and again.

It was a short, but nice stay at Hostel Climbing Point. The staff was very nice and helpful. They helped with organising tours. I could leave there my stuff I didn't need on my trek and could spend the day and use the facilities after my hike until my night bus there for free. It's a bit far from the center, but you can easily walk.

Great room for the price, but there is no set reception point so it was difficult at times to find someone to ask about tours / questions, and staff weren’t always present / don’t speak much English. Not a very sociable hostel, and a bit far out of the centre of Huaraz. Omar was very helpful during our stay! Overall with the cheap price if you want a nice quiet stay!

Great stay here. Staff really helpful and friendly. Also good breakfast and wifi.
