Planned on coming Bir for a week but ended up staying a month. From perfect climate to great views, I found Hostel Stories to be the best hostel in the area. (I tried Hosteller and Trippy Tribe also.) All three of the hostel are very kind and courteous and the manager is very good at bringing people together and creating fun experiences for all the guests. There's loads of things to do in the area (Paragliding, trekking, hot springs, monasteries, lakes), really good for nice motorbike rides. ...

The property is very clean, and the staff ensure that it is well maintained throughout the day. There is ample space in the common areas to socialise with other travellers both inside and on the balcony. The terrace has clothes lines to dry laundhry if needed. Rooms are clean and organised. The location of the property is great as it’s walking distance from landing site for paragliding, the main cafe street and also some nice hikes.
