T-Life Hostel

T-Life is a really cool hostel! Not only very cozy and clean, but also with lovely people having an adorable amount of crazyness as well as thoughtfulness to talk until late at night about god and the world. Already looking forward to come back

Way too far from the city center, 30-minute bus ride and you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the bus station

This hostel was a really nice place to stay. The staff were friendly and the place was very clean. We were in a private room and the beds weren't the comfiest but for how good value the hostel is, they weren't awful. The communal area was nice and the kitchen was well stocked. It was relaxing. People were friendly and the hostel had lots of guides for local food and activities.

this hostel is too far away from everything. it's so far from the train station. everything was nice and clean so the locayis the only major issue. also in February, they don't heat the rooms so it gets freezing at night. I asked for a second duvet and slept well but man was it cold!

Great Hostel! T-Life Hostel is very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the skin/hair care and feminine products on the bathroom vanity, it was very thoughtful and appreciated. I found the staff helpful. They recommended great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The location requires you to use public transportation if you want to see more touristy things, but the area was great and quiet. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to others!

Could not recommend T-Life enough. I spent Christmas here while solo travelling and the owners and staff made my experience in Taichung incredible. While the location is not in the city centre, its nestled in a unique neighbourhood giving you a more authentic Taichung experience - surrounded by great food which the staff can recommend for you. If you're looking for a homey stay - I'd 100% recommend T-Life!

Checked all the boxes for me. Clean, great showers, beds with curtains, nicely set up kitchen, friendly staff. The location is outside the city center so to see the main attractions in Taichung you’ll need to find a way to move around BUT there is a very lively night market steps away. I bought my food and could it eat it in the kitchen instead of while walking as it is so close to the hostel.

Really helpful and attentive staff. Quite a far distance from city centre and main HSR train, need to get a couple of buses. Besides that, very decent hostel, would recommend.

I rarely leave reviews on hostels, but this one is a special case. I feel like Taiwan doesn’t have a very big tourist scene that stays in hostels, leaving most of them with many local tenants - so solo travellers might find it harder to meet individuals like themselves. However, the staff of this hostel was 10/10 and made my stay very enjoyable! (Shoutout to Angelica and Rebecca) Place was very clean and cozy as well, in a good spot outside the busy city, but in the city at the same time

Tolles Hostel und liebes Personal. Leider ein bisschen außerhalb von Taichung, aber mit guter Anbindung und Nachmarkt direkt vor der Haustüre.
