Paphlagonia Yoruk Konak

die unterkunft ist super schön, gemütlich eingerichtet, ruhig und nah an der natur. es gibt lecker essen und viel platz (ich hatte während der off-season ein uimmer für mich allein). die schlafzimmer sind sauber, der rest ist leider aufgrund der katzen teilweise verschmutzt :/ der hostelbesitzer war sehr zuvorkommend und wollte mir einen guten service bieten; leider war mir es teilweise viel zu viel und ich habe seine art als teilweise köroerlich oder psychisch übergriffig wahrgenommen.

This is such a beautiful and traditional konak which is spacious, clean, peaceful and very comfortable. Had a very lovely few days and the host, Selcuk is very attentive and kind. I highly recommend

Une maison charmante vieille de 300 ans dans un très beau village ottoman. Les hôtes étaient aux petits soins pour nous, on s'y est sentis tellement bien qu'on y est restés 6 nuits au lieu de 3 !

Lieu hors du commun, un havre de paix dans un village préservé dans son authenticité - à l’abris du surtourisme. Hôte d’une grande gentillesse, à l’écoute et plein de bons conseils pour rendre ce séjour exceptionnel. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommanderons cet endroit magique.

We had the absolute best time here!! The konak and Yoruk Köy have so much character and charm, but what was really amazing was how above and beyond the host went to make our trip unforgettable and so so fun. Truly a special experience, and would highly recommend

I had a great time here, truly immersed in a traditional Turkish village! Selçuk is very welcoming and truly integrates us into the village of Yörük Köyü. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic experience!

This is not your normal youth hostel experience, it's much better! 300 year old historic Ottoman mansion in a UNESCO world heritage area. The owners are super friendly and generous. It's a peaceful place out in the country where you won't be able to resist relaxing for a while

I had a truly lovely stay at Paphlagonia! The old wooden house is full of charm. My room was quite big and facing the garden where you can hang out with the resident cats :) The village is also quite charming: small but rich in history, and easy to explore on foot. Getting to Safranbolu is super easy using the dolmus that stops just a few hundred meters from the house. The host & the team at Paphlagonia were great: friendly, welcoming & always ready to help. I would recommend staying here :)

Suuper sweet host and hotel. Literally living in a museum house in a museum village where everyone is so nice. Good place to let time slow down and enjoy the small things. Big plus is the baby kiten running around and playing.

Je suis resté 3 nuits dans cet incroyable hôtel à Yorük. L’endroit est calme et paisible, la famille est très accueillante et chaleureuse et le service était au dessus de mes attentes. Ma chambre était grande, très confortable mais surtout très belle. Le village est facilement accessible par minibus du centre de Safranbolu avec plusieurs bus par jour et vaut largement le détour. Je recommande fortement de venir passer quelques jours dans cet hôtel.

It's a wonderful historical place just in a quiet village close to Safranbolu. You can experiment yourself for a while how the rich otomanes lived time ago. Even it's a little bit complicated to get to the village without your own vehicle it is highly recommended to stay. Staff so kind and friendly but better if you speak a bit of Turkish ;)

We loved staying here, the room was perfect, kitchen was great, really lovely sitting spots to chill out. yorük is stunning and has a gorgeous atmosphere. We will miss bodjerak the crazy cat and our host Burak.
